Christmas Countdown - 2016

Maples are my favourite trees. They're so pretty and sturdy. The most greenery we can get here in our appartment is planting flowers in pots on our balcony in May. They usually last through most of the Summer. That must have been fun walking through your future home. It's one thing to see it on paper but to be inside and getting a feel for the rooms must be great.


Enjoy your evening and The Walking Dead season finale. We used to watch it at the beginning, but hubby, who loved the books, gets annoyed anytime a movie or tv show doesn't follow the book exactly, so we stopped watching because I got annoyed at him being annoyed.

When we lived in Las Vegas, I missed the fall leaves so much that my mom would pick them up from her yard and ship me a big envelope full

It was really nice to walk through it, and the decorating is running through my brain!
It was fun to pick out paint colors, cabinets, flooring, countertops, etc.
Of course we'll share both bathrooms, but we're going to each take over one with our things, so we have our own space. And so it's not an inconvenience if we want to get ready at the same time.
I picked autumn colors for mine. I special ordered a quaint shower curtain, bath accessories, signs, etc. Going to be fun!

Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its been a gorgeous sunny day here today...Feeling warm too when outside...Been super busy today in the garden...cut the grass,weeded the borders,weeded the patio and washed washed it too..I am knackered..my back feels like its gonna snap lol...The girls enjoyed being outside playing in the garden with their toys...Still got loads too do yet though the house is like a bomb has hit it and the wife will be home tonite so gonna have dinner then get cracking and tidy it a bit...Enjoy the rest of your day christmas buddies

Woke up to snow showers and very high winds. Our lights have been flickering all morning, hope we don't lose power.
I have to head out soon, I have an appointment. I saw my neurologist last week for my chronic headaches/migraines and he's sending me for a test. The radiologist had weekend hours so I thought it would be easier for me to sneak out of here on a Sunday morning than a week day. I'm kind of anxious about the results but hopefully everything will be alright.
Not too much else planned. We need a few things from Home Depot, I might take a ride there with my husband this afternoon if I feel up to it. That's about it for me.

Wow all three! That should be interesting LOL!

I am excited about the picks. Be sure to report back how it goes! Good luck with everything else. Can't believe it's packing time! Good idea to make a start now. It will really ease the stress rather than leave it all for the end.

We have no plans as such. I woke up to a very dark and rainy morning. My youngest and I are still struggling with a cold and cough so it will be a sofa day I think. Not sure which movie. We watched The Goonies last Saturday. I feel for another film from that era. Love the 80s

Other than that I have work tomorrow. The kids finished school yesterday for their two week spring break. I better get as much rest as I can today before next week LOL!

Fall leaves, all the beautiful colours, a great choice for your bathroom. What a great idea your mother had to send you leaves through the mail. I like when people think outside of the box like that.

Hey MMC buddies!! Made it back from Milwaukee about 10pm last night. Roads were clear and weather was great, except for the wind. We ate at Mo's Irish Pub (Mrs. nickname is Mo so we HAD to stop there at eat!! ) Spent all morning at church as we usually do and then my daughter and the Mrs went to a LuLarue party and I was along to carry things and give my opinion. They both had a great time. Now I need to record for the radio station and get prepared for working tomorrow!!

As for the weather we're having here in the the Midwest and Northeast, I think Mother Nature went off her meds. Hope everyone stays warm and safe!!
