Good evening,

I missed my time with the greatest place on the Web yesterday.
I left the house by 6am came home and changed at 4, and then went to the game and dinner and didn't get home until 1130 last night.
NLL lacrosse is awesome! I am definitely a fan now, as are my wife and boys. The game is non stop action, fast paced, high scoring, hard checking like hockey, but the beat the snot out of each other with the sticks to try to get the ball back. Just an absolute great time. We will probably go back for the remaining home games, the casino gave us free tickets to the remaining home games, and we aren't even high rollers. Awesome stuff! The boys actually got to meet four of the players after the game, got their autographs and pictures taken with them. I'll post pictures when I get on the computer.
Woke up this morning to white out conditions and 4 inches of snow on the ground. It was expected, but tonight we are supposed to get 6-8 inches. More snow in April than January.
I'll be back in a bit to post pictures.

Lol..come to my house 10" in my yard...and its snowing like crazy again. Think they say to expect another 8" overnite.

Mother nature has truly lost her mind! UGH

We were under a Winter Storm Warning for most of the day yesterday and into this morning. Not much precipitation of any kind fell since we are in the far south of the county. I'm glad as it gave the basement time to dry out a bit ~ and it is! Yay!!!

Working on store stuff today ~ going to be busy!

We ended up watching Captain Ron and Jack and Jill. Not quite 80s but they were on the tele. We finished up the day with Back to The Future, another one of my all time favourites.

Sounds like a good night. I stayed with Mom last night & into this morning - we watched "Sweet Home Alabama" One of my faves & mom had never seen it before.

I am glad that the storm didn't cause too much disruption. Sounds like you had some issues with your basement. Great that it has dried out somewhat and continues to do so. That must have been awful having water in your home during such turbulent weather.

The start of the first full week of April. Time is moving along so fast.
(And don't these Milestones sneak up quickly!)

First, today's numbers, then we will take a look up ahead to see how rapidly our next markers are appraching:
Days to the Season: 223
Days to Christmas Day: 265

And our back-to-back markers are just visible up ahead. A scant bit over three weeks away.
They are, of course, the 1/3 Christmas Day point and the 200-day Season Window.
The former arrives on April 26, just 3 weeks from tomorrow.
The latter follows the next day, on the 27th.
(Like a lunar eclipse, back to back Milestones do not often occur. Just once a year, in fact. You don't want to miss them!)


A tad on the chilly side yesterday, but today should rebound into the mid 70's with no rain. Nice!
For the rest of the week, however, noticeably cooler weather will prevail.
For now, our new week has commenced at 50 degrees here in the capital city.

I don't know what you have planned this evening, but as for me, I'll be watching UNC in the NCAA basketball finals.

It is warm today at 54F !!!! I have all the windows open but we are supposed to have thunderstorms heading our way in the next hour or so.

While some of you are expecting snow we have just been given warning that 'Blood Rain' is heading our way.

I had to look 'Blood Rain' up ~ must be a very weird site to see!

I never dreamed I'd be working from home today! It's snowing again, expecting 4 to 6 inches. Started out for work, but the roads are getting coated and I nearly slid into someone ... even with allowing several car-lengths for braking. So I turned around and went back home and sent an e-mail saying I'm working from here today. Worried about Mr., though; he has to host a film show tonight.

We had a beautiful weekend after the rain cleared out Friday night. I worked on Elizabeth's garden all day Saturday, and it looks pretty good! And Jacob's gig went great Friday night. They made a $100 apiece, so they were super thrilled LOL.

We spend yesterday afternoon working on scholarship applications for Jacob. I hope at least one of them pans out!

I never did. Why is it through the week my alarm goes off at 6:45 & wakes me from a dead sleep. The weekend I wake up at 5:30?? Crazy!

Oh ugh! Hope they it goes well. There is ALMOST nothing I dread more than the dentist. My hubby broke a tooth in half Friday night eating pizza. He has to go Friday to see what they will do for it. Yuck!

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
My daughters car is going in for service today so I need to follow her to the mechanic to drop the car off. Then I have to drive her to and from work. I'm hoping the car will be ready by the end of the day so I don't have to chauffeur her around again tomorrow. Other than that it will be a typical day of errands and chores. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and has a great week ahead!

Hope your daughters car is done quickly!! Like Edge said - you ARE a good mom! Our "new" suv is back at the dealership today - Jim wanted (thin) pinstripes put on it.... always something...

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Opening Day to Baseball season! We had fun at my Uncle's last night and for those of you who do watch Walking Dead it was quite a cliffhanger. Now we have to wait 6 months till October to find out what happens. By then we'll be a couple of weeks from Halloween. Scary...pun intended. But for now I slept 5 hours and got up feeling less tired then when I sleep 8. Go figure. I think that it'll hit me tonight. Anyway, a 4 day work week for me so I'm looking forward to a long weekend ahead. I just hope that one will be more filled with rest than this one was.
Here we go April have a great Monday!

My boss #2 is leaving work early today (I think - I hope...) to go to an opening day party! I always love to see the start of baseball season!

Merry Monday!! We woke up to snow and my kids have a 2hr delay. I do not really care for snow in April! My oldest was supposed to have her first track meet today but I am sure that will be canceled. Just work today and I have a dentist apt at 1:00 just a cleaning. Hope you all have a good start to the week.

I hope it is cancelled b/c if not...BRRRRRRR!!!

Who's garden is it? LOLOL! Nice of you to help her out. Can't wait until we can get in ours!!! I just noticed last week that our rhubarb is coming up. So exciting!!! Hopefully the asparagus will be poking through soon too. This was the 1st year without Dad to take care of it & I think we waited too long to cut back the asparagus "ferns" Hopefully it will be ok.
