Christmas Countdown - 2016

Wow we are now UNDER a week until our next milestone(s) hit. Yes we will hit our only back-to-back milestones next Tuesday/Wednesday and then head straight into the "1s" to the season. That just seems surreal.

Alright since Crown is not back yet I tried to get the scoop on what to expect tonight at the Pines from Carl. Can you believe that camel told me "If Crown can't get the inside scoop each week when he tries what makes you think you can"? He had a smirk when he said that so it makes me wonder what that camel is up to tonight. I guess there is only one way to find out huh? See you all at the Pines!

Wednesday already, this week is flying by. I work the next 3 days then the weekend off.
Van is fixed, a few things yet need doing but that can wait a bit.
Spring seems reluctant to show up this year, but we have had a few nice days, hoping for more soon.

Has Harlowe had a more restful night finally? Happy to see that she is still taking her medicine well and that her coughing is under control, but I'm sure you are looking for her to get her energy back. Is it a known side effect of Furosemide? I'm keeping you guys in my thoughts.

It's going to be another gorgeous day here. I'm just waiting for supper in the oven to be done so I can walk Loki and enjoy the fresh air a bit. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift so this morning sun is about all I'll get today.

Thank you so much Martine. Maggie took her medicine last night and this morning, hopefully she'll keep it up. She slept a little bit better too. We still got up a couple of times but she went back to sleep afterward.

Not yet, as she is still on the Furosemide. It makes her drink a lot of water (diuretic), so it's doing it's job, but because of that her bladder fills up quickly and she needs to go out every two hours at least. So she is up often, drinking and needing to go outside.

It can make you have less energy, or weakness, so I'm glad it's not needed long term for her.
I hate seeing her have any side effects, but I'm grateful that it removes the fluid on her lungs and gives her relief from the coughing.
Hopefully she'll be less restless soon <3

Good morning everyone, Happy Pines Day!
I don't have any errands to run today, I love when that happens. I do have plenty to do around the house though. I'm going to clean all of the bathrooms today, that will keep me busy. I'll be working on the laundry as well. My mother is going to take a ride over this afternoon to have a cup of tea. I'm making spaghetti & meatballs with mozzarella garlic bread for dinner. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

That's great! Now I'm actually thankful I go into work early for a meeting, I can listen to the podcast sooner than usual!
