Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/WednesDAY!!! Someone turned the heat off here! Brrrrr! Had to turn the furnace back on at home this morning! It's a dreary day with wind - not supposed to rain until later tonight! Going to be "one of them" kind of days concerning the weather!
Not much going on around here today. Emma (moms Amish lady) wants to go back tonight b/c she has a wedding tomorrow. So I'll stay with Mom tonight. I don't really think she needs someone all the time anymore, but it's a peace of mind, overnight anyway.
Please keep Mom in your prayers today - she has an apt w/ an oncologist. They found her platelet count very high when she was in with pneumonia in February & that has not gone down yet, though she is clear of pneumonia. So they forwarded her to an oncologist just to make sure things are ok. They don't know what her normal platelet count is b/c unless you have an illness, they don't check that. Soooo?? I'm a little unsure about the necessity of this appointment. Mom feels good, she's getting back to life, going back to the Y....what are they going to do? She's 87! Ahhhh, anyway.... say a little prayer that all turns out good, if you don't mind! Thanks!
