And I'm an ice drinker even in the winter but today a hot chocolate or hot coffee sounds good.Ohh, that sounds awfully good right now ...

Ok, that's too warm for May!It's crazy. I think that I saw North Dakota or somewhere near the Canada border is going to be 93 today.
That is so awesome that you make homemade vanilla! What a great idea! I bet it tastes delicious in everything you make! And what a great gift!Hey everyone ... I don't know if it's been the chilly, damp weather we have been having a LOT of lately but man oh man that Christmas tug getting stronger. I keep thinking about how I want to decorate this year, menu ideas and gift ideas. I am leaning towards a less expensive Christmas this year with more homemade gifts for extended family. Over the weekend I started a new batch of homemade vanilla extract and vanilla sugar which will get bottled up into small jars for gifts. I use a lot of vanilla in my baking so I may order more vanilla beans next month and do another batch of each just to make sure I have enough for my baking and for gifts. I have checked with the local orchards that I get my fruits from and picking season has already been affected the chilly damp weather and picking so far is being delayed by a couple weeks. I am hoping it warms up and dries up a bit so it doesn't get delayed to much more. Plus I want to get my veggie garden planted.
Stay warm and dry and have a great day.

Oh my gosh! Good thing you followed your instinct. Not that I'm happy she has in infection, but it's very promising the antibiotics will help with her symptoms! Praying they do!!! xx EXTRA hugs to Har!!!Thank you, Gracie!! Harlowe appreciates them!
I stopped by her vet's office over lunch, to pick up medication refills while I was out & about. I guess her doctor had already read the Urinalysis results, and she does have an infection. She hadn't written a report or entered anything into her file yet as she was still seeing patients. But they did fill some antibiotics for me. The receptionist said her doctos notes said she had left me a message, but nothing is on my phone. So hopefully I'll still hear from her by the end of the business day.
Adi says I worry too much, but I know my girl, and when her behavior is off, and I was right. Always trust your gut!
Praying that these help with the symptoms causing her shaking spells, excessive drinking, and having to go outside every two hours, etc.
