Happy Mother's Day Festive. You have been getting warmer weather than us the last week!Merry Sunday

We are expected to reach the 70s today and tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I was off today!!!
I couldn't sleep last night , it was so warm in bed! (Gosh it feels great to be complaining about the heat for a change LOL. )

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Happy Mother's Day! Hope all the mom's will have a great day. I got my mom a gift certificate for her hair salon, an ice cream cake and we will be taking her to IHOP for brunch a week from Monday which I will be off. Looking forward to those 3 day weekends coming back. For today it is another rainy morning here. Shocking. This has been 8 days in a row basically where we haven't seen the sun BUT the weatherman said that we will see it this afternoon. I'll believe it when I see it.

.....and they're off!!
Days to the Season: 189
Days to Christmas Day: 231
And down the stretch comes "Next Milestone" and he's only 1 week away from the finish line. At which point, we will be HALF WAY BACK to our grand and glorious Christmas Season!
(Bet on it.)
Ah! Yesterday's warmth and dryness were a welcomed change from the weather we had in Asheville.
Today should show more of the same before it gets too warm later next week.
We show 65 degrees here right now, under sunny skies.

Bernie was feeling much better later yesterday morning, so I went to listen to Jacob's band play, then I came home and worked in the yard. I still have lots more to do, though.
Nancy's not feeling well this morning, but she's going to be a trooper, and she's getting ready for church. We have a full day with her, my mom and Mrs. Hilda, but it'll be fun!

Thank you very much, Sam!!I can't remember the title. He had about 2 or 3 Hawaiian ones so they are all jumbled in my head. I will ask mum for the title and report back. I love Beach Boys and Buddy Holly!! Barbershop quartets have such great harmony ! I also grew up listening to Peggy Lee, Sketer Davis, Jim Reeves, Chuck Berry, Dusty Springfield and so many more from my father's collectionSad how some people nowadays don't know those names when I mention them but I know you will!!!
I am so sorry you are having car problems yet again. How disappointing that you had to cancel plans with your family too! I hope you guys can make up for it. It's so sad to hear Har is still reacting to the meds. I hope she ate and you both rested better last night.

She ate for me last night, grateful for that- but refused her meds last night & this morning.
I had my glass of wine but went to bed early, I couldn't get through more than 10 minutes of my movie.
