Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good evening,
I just did a quick run through the posts tonight. I am exhausted and heading to bed. Nothing really interesting going on around my neck of the woods, Monday is done.

Michelle's grandparents had a lake cottage. She knows that feeling oh to well also.

I totally agree about lakes. I love being near water (not so much IN water though). I love taking Loki to that park that has a lake and walking all along its shore. It is so calming.

Work day done, yes! It's getting so warm this week that I bought water bottles and popsicles for our employees. We might set up our air conditionning at home soon. Now going to bed, good night everyone!

Evening everyone. I hope everyone had a good weekend. We stayed busy, especially on Sunday. We went to the Junior High State Track Meet in Columbus to watch once of my wife's students. The girl we went to see throws discus and shot-put. She ended up finishing second in both events.
We then went to the Columbus Art Museum which was a lot of fun. And for dinner we went to a great German restaurant called Schimdt's. If you are ever in Columbus, you need to go to Schimdt's if you like German food. Be prepared to wait a little bit, but it is worth it! There is also a German Fudge Haus next to the restaurant.
Today marked the start of the last week of school. Tomorrow is the last "regular" day for me. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are exam days, so I just sit there and watch students take tests.o_O Then, Friday, we have to stay until 9pm to finish grades and clean our classrooms. BUT THEN... SUMMER BREAK!:D

Schmidts was on Man vs Food.... Awesome you went there! We have some Schmidt sausages in our freezer at the lake! Maybe you should check out the Thurman Café too! :D (if you haven't already)

Unfortunately I don't have Memorial Day off (or any days unless I take PTO-I work in health care!) but I am so excited for all of you who do! I hope everyone is getting ready to have some relaxing time at some point this week. Let's make it a good one!!

Nothing major here. About to make dinner and go to yoga class! Husband is on call tonight so who knows what will happen. Think uneventful thoughts!
