Good morning everyone!

I'm heading out soon. I have to go back to Target, my husband asked me to pick up a few things for him. Think I'll stop at HomeGoods as well and look around, it's in the same shopping center. Typical day, I'll be working on my daily chores as well. It's going to be warm today, sunny with a high of 84 degrees. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Merry Rudolph Day!! Just working today and my oldest daughter has an away track meet and my youngest daughter has a chorus concert at 6:30 so hubby and I will go to that. Hope you all have a great day and see you at the Pines!

We are both doing pretty well, thanks!

The heat and humidity are definitely a challenge for my girl right now, but we are just taking shorter walks more often so she can still spend some time outside

Glad to hear she's doing well. It sure didn't take long for the humidity to show up, did it! Hope Har continues to do well despite the heat/humidity!

We are doing good here too! Gracie was happy to hang out with us at the lake yesterday! She had my Mom laughing pretty hard, the silly girl!

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

I called in sick today, allergies or cold not sure which but feel clogged up and just plain yucky. Don't have to be in again until 12:15 on Friday so lots of time to get better. The students are back so we end up with less hours which really sucks. Nothing can be done about it because they just remind us that we were never promised any set number of hours a week.
Oh well, more time to work in the garden !

Merry Morning and Happy Pines Day.

I woke up to a freezing morning. The smell of pine and wood smoke suddenly transported me to autumn days in October. My favourite month. My favourite season. Outside is washed in dark grey and the sky overcast. I am warming up with a steaming mug of coffee and the fire while visions of jack-O-lanterns dance in my head.

Today we are to finally get some seasonal weather: sunshine and 80s (F). I won't get outdoors to enjoy it---we're expecting a busy and/or late day at the office, so I may not get outside again until after dark. Fingers crossed that the weekend will be free, though!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a busy day we have:
*Wednesday (so, hey, it's not Monday!)
*Pinesday (and who doesn't love going to the Shishpering Pines?)
*Rudolph Day (I love the 25th!), and
*Made's Birthday! Happy birthday, old friend!

Last night we met Nancy's niece at a Japanese hibachi grill for her birthday. It was great as always, but expensive! Whew! I'll have to live on PB&J for a couple weeks to get over that! j/k Ok, not really kidding.

I hope to cut the grass this afternoon, but we'll see how that goes.

ouch ouch. No mosquitoes here but when we were in the Caribbean they were awful!!

No mosquitoes! You're so lucky! In the summertime I'm a mosquito magnet. I sometimes get nailed once or twice just going from the car to our back door! It was in the low 60s last Christmas Eve (very unusual), and I got bitten on the hand when we strolled around looking at the neighborhood lights.

Lol!!! We had that a few times this winter..got warm enough the gnats woke up.. and flies. Walk down the road and go through a cloud of bugs.

Boy oh boy what a busy morning. And here's why:
Last night just as I was getting ready to leave work I uncover a file on my desk. It was a small project I had started in January that would save us some money and increase customer satisfaction. Management loved it and told me to proceed. But somehow it got buried under another project. (a.k.a. Forgotten by Rich)
So this morning I had to go to my boss and eat some crow and explain why this hasn't implemented yet. He said get it done ASAP. Luckily he had a smile on his face. So that is what I've been doing all morning and I'm just about done with my portion of things. I just have to send the marked up drawings to the drafter and document the project.
Wow, I'm such a goober.
Time to relax and enjoy some lunch.

OOPS! Hope the project goes well!

Thank you ... the hugs are much appreciated.
Just not feeling my best ... snapped at someone this morning and had to apologize (no hard feelings on either side) ... will be having a very busy, potentially late day at work tomorrow ... going to an 8 a.m. root canal appointment Thursday morning, then going to work afterward because it's supposed to be another busy day ... I have to think of other things and try to pull myself out of the dumps.
