Great news that the store is doing so well!!Good morning!
All caught up ~ took quite a bit of time as I was over three days behind.
The past three days went by fast! Quite an interesting time, too. It was very hot and humid, the promised rain never happened, although it stormed in the surrounding areas, and I have been sick since Friday afternoon. Better, but exhausted today, so I am going to catch up on chores around the house and see if the stuff picked up for the store were good finds.
Speaking of the store, the sale is going all right, but the punch bowl sets still haven't sold. Keeping the sale going for at least two more weeks as June is also a slow month. If all else fails, Plan B will take effect. The mall owner said we were doing great for our size, but I hinted around again that I would like a bigger space.
A critter threw the dirt out of the pots that were going to be a part of my kitchen garden and since I found 4 kittens under the barberry bush that was nearby, I decided to scrap the idea for this year. The kittens are adorable!
All but the beans have been planted, so as of now, things are looking good garden-wise. Hopefully it will rain tonight/tomorrow as the fruit trees and berry bushes really need the rain!

Thanks snowflake! Mom just called me ~ she didn't know that I had already heard about my aunt. She's so upset. That makes me so sad! My Mom has always been close to this sister.

Thanks for the prayers for my Aunt. I'm fine ~ she can definitely use the prayers. I really think my issue was mostly allergies ~ the cottonwood trees were creating a warm snow all weekend. Cotton flying EVERYWHERE! Hopefully by next weekend there will be a lot less of that! xx

Good morning guys & gals! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful memorial weekend! The weather turned out to be awesome! We had a major downpour Saturday night just as we were getting ready to eat our smoked food - but not a big deal, we just piled inside & ate.And I must say it was quite delicious! Then us girls played marbles. Haven't played that for a long time ~ it got pretty heated! Ha ha!!! It was fun!
This morning has been a little unusual. I was supposed to stay with Mom last night but her AC went out, so my sis took her to her house on Saturday night & she stayed there for the weekend. I had already told my boss I would be in late this morning since I thought I would be staying with Mom ~ I woke up today & felt like I had a cow sitting on my chest! I'm not sure if it's a cold or allergies! My co-worker said he had the same thing, all weekend. UGH! Anyway, I'm feeling better now, but I did take advantage of coming into work late. I stayed at the lake a little longer this morning & enjoyed some couch & tv time! Hard to come in after that. What a beautiful morning!
THEN I got some sad news that my Moms youngest sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer! UGH! Cancer sucks!

We were supposed to have rain all last week & weekend. We had the downpour on Saturday night & that was it. Last year we were flooded to the max, this year we can't buy rain. Crazy mother nature! Our lake is low already!
