It's hilarious that Palmer sets door alarms! They're really ingenious in their own way sometimes!

I've mentioned the neighbor's cat, who has free range of the neighborhood. He comes by to visit occasionally (or even meets our car sometimes when we pull into the driveway!), and I give him some kitty treats on the back deck, which is adjacent to the kitchen window. If he feels he hasn't had enough, and he sees a light on in the kitchen, the li'l bugger jumps up on the deck railing, sticks his claws in the window screen, and rattles it. First time we heard that, we couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. I opened the curtain to look outside, and came face to face with the little dickens meowing for more! To avoid this, we sometimes wind up putting our groceries away with the light off!
That's funny!! :D Smart little cookie!

Isn't that the way it goes. You pay them to fix your cavities then 20-30 years later you pay them again to put a crown over it. Why can't they fix it right the first time? Where's the technology?

Anyway, Good morning MerryCarey and Merry "200 days till Christmas" Eve!!!
::wave
Thank you!

Technology does play a role. The endodontist caught one of the failed root canals by examining a CT scan of the area---that's definitely the first time I ever encountered a CT scan in dentistry. I guess if my previous dentist had had that when the treatments were originally done, he wouldn't have missed a couple of tiny little roots. And he was a very thorough and careful dentist who had patents to his name.

The part I "love" about root canals is the paper you sign that says you understand that the treatment may not be a permanent solution and that complications in the future could lead to the loss of the tooth ... yeah, just what I want to see just before they "fix" it! But I guess they have a right to protect themselves legally.

(OK, I've said enough about teeth for now.)

That is so funny! I love cats.
We have one that visits us too. He has an owner but he comes visits for treats and cuddles much to my boys enjoyment and mine.

Your story made me think of a favourite childhood film called That Darn Cat. :D Love that movie and DC, the cat.

It made me smile that you would save us a kitten. I would take two if I could! I wish!!

Thank you. It's a slow process and frustrating at times but I am thankful for what we do have until we can move forward.

Hope you are having a great day.

I wish you could take two, too! Glad you smiled! :)

You're welcome!

Thank you ~ wishing you the same!
xx

Merry Afternoon all,
I have spent almost the entire day on the front and back gardens. I have encountered every bug and insect there is! My gardens seem to be a prime spot for spiders too. Just came face to face with two tiger coloured ones on a web! Eeek! The amount of spider web is unreal. The wasps and bees were the worst though!

The thunderstorms they predicted yesterday and today haven't hit. There is a warning /advisory for torrential rain and hail. We know it's going to be rough when it hits Eeek :D

Hope everyone is having a nice day so far.

Oh eek!! I dislike bugs!!! I'm sure your gardens are looking beautiful now! Stay safe!

Enjoy the rest of your day Festive!

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!!

Gracie threw up this morning down our driveway. UGH! I'm hoping it was just a fluke but I'm worried she'll get sick again. Hoping she's ok - poor girl! I took her for a walk this morning before that & she seemed fine 'n dandy. Maybe when my boss comes in for break I'll see if I can run home to check on her. o_O

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

So sorry to hear Gracie is not well. I hope it is just a passing thing and she is back to her self soon. Prayers for her recovery. Keep me posted. Hugs to Gracie!

Good morning Festive and Merry "200 days till Christmas" Eve!!!
Stay safe and dry today.

We have that on DVD! Someone sent it to us for Christmas one year. I wasn't expecting much, but it really was a good little movie! I also have a recording of Louie Prima singing the title song, which is fun.

Now you need to see "Rhubarb," about a millionaire's cat (formerly feral) who inherits a baseball team.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure they appreciate it!
Hope you get to enjoy some nice days off with no dental work! xx
Stay safe in the storms today! It's chilly here this morning. We have a window open & I had to put on my sweatshirt.
Have a great day!
So what temp was it this morning? Curious about what is chilly for you LOL

I agree, cats are very ingenious. Your neighbor cat, for example, is one smart cookie figuring out how to get your attention the quickest way he could!
It made me smile to read that you put your groceries away in the dark. :D

I MUST see that one. It sounds familiar. I wonder if I have. I will check it out!

PS Love the theme song!

I feel your "pain". :D:p Two root canals, three crowns and counting.
