Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning! This morning my husband and I are going to the local dealership to try and buy our first newer car together that we didn't pay for in cash. We prefer not to have any debt but we both work as chaplains and HAVE to have reliable transportation to work. In our case, the old cars weren't doing it for us and were causing more headache. Today's goal is to have a new car by noon (and to not faint over how much money we're spending!) and to start getting the old one taken care of (it's sitting in the parking lot at the shop)...and then to run all the new car errands like transferring tags and registration and all that fun stuff. I also have work all day! Positive thoughts/prayers are welcome for buying a good car and getting it all taken care of swiftly and quickly!

I'm nervous this morning so of course I'm listening to Christmas music. Sometimes it's the only thing that does the trick to get my blood pressure down.

I just checked our finances again this morning-my husband and I have enough money to make this work with a new car! I'm so glad. It'll be tight for a few months but it'll teach us good lessons about hard work and how to make things work! Love when struggles turn into opportunities! Let's have a great day MMC!!!

Good morning everyone, Merry Tuesday!
I just straightened up the house and threw in a load of laundry. Having a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee before I run to the supermarket to do some food shopping. Wish I had more time to sit and chat with all of you, I can't seem to find much down time lately. I'll be heading to the mall this afternoon to shop for my daughter's birthday. I still didn't find shoes for my nephews wedding so I'll be looking for those as well. Hopefully it will be a productive day!

Merry Tuesday,

Back to school/nursery today. It will take a couple days to settle back into it especially with the change in weather. I couldn't even find my wellies and raincoat this morning. Feels so long since I needed those.

I am having some issues with anxiety these days. Hard to say if it's the result of my unsettling dreams of late OR the cause of them. It will be okay though. It will pass.

Just another grey, rainy day here in the north of England. We are at 55 at the moment but I feel a bit cold !!

Sorry to hear of your anxiety. I've had to take medicine for mine in the past, but over the years have gotten better at managing it. There is a magnesium supplement called "calm" that you can buy at a lot of the health food stores here in the states. It really helps me with mine. I will be praying for you! Have a good morning!

Merry Tuesday MMC....I am enjoying time with my brother and is family. I should be able to take a 1/2 day today as long as one of my reports is reviewed this morning. We are planning on going to see my a couple of my aunts. It is chilly outside this morning, it feels like fall. Hope you all have a great day!
