The a/c guy came to "fix it" yesterday at work and now it's even colder in my room! I just got a cough drop and have my hoodie on.
Time to up your game to a small space heater, if it's allowed.

I'm usually huddling and shivering by 11 a.m. Sometimes the chill eases up during the afternoon. If I can get away from my desk for a quick walk around the block, that keeps me warm for a while after I return.

Good stormy morning MMC!!! Merry Pines Day, Happy Hump Day!!! We got a 1 1/2 mile walk in this morning before it started pouring, then storming - Gracie was hanging out in the basement when I left for work. She does not care for storms! Poor girl! Looks like we will have a clearing here for a hour or so but they say more rain later. We need it!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday gang!!!

Good morning Holiday, Happy Pines Day!
Poor Gracie, I hope the storms aren't too bad for the rest of the day.
Hope you have a nice day!

Good morning everyone!
The day is off to a good start. I woke up to a really heavy rain, which was out of nowhere and a bit strange, but whatever. lol I then started to make coffee and breakfast. Henry was already up and running around the house with a brown blanket on his head, I have no idea why.:p
Then I remembered that today is the day I get the results back from my resident educator summative assessment(RESA). This is what all new teachers in Ohio have to do in their first 3-4 years in order to stay a teacher. The first 2 years are just going to some meetings and filling out meaningless paperwork. However, in year 3 there are 4 "tasks" which you have to complete. Those tasks range from making videos of teaching, uploading a bunch of files from tests, homeworks, emails, etc... Then you answer a ton of questions for each task. The process is done so that 2 tasks were due in December and 2 in April. You might remember me complaining about doing them.
Well, anyway, I am happy to say that I passed all parts of RESA!!! :D Year 4 of the program is just more meetings, but requires no actual work that I have to do. I am so happy and relieved to be done with RESA!!!:jump

Now it is back to making new cosplay outfits for this weekend's Indy PopCon!
So far my DieselPunk outfit is complete and my wife is finishing up my Lone Ranger shirt this morning. Then she will be finishing her new Batwoman Bomshell costume (just needs finishing touches), NightOwl, and Ariel (Little Mermaid)wrapped in a sail costume.

My coworker actually has one. She runs her sometimes. I might start doing sprints back and forth when I get cold.

Good morning ~
Merry Pines Day!
My baby turns 20 today. It's just hitting me, I have no more teenagers. I'm getting old! We'll be going out for dinner to celebrate. I'm taking the birthday girl to breakfast right now so I've got to run. I'll pop back in when I can.
Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Happy to hear this!

A hoodie and a space heater here. I got a small one that turns off automatically if no movement is sensed within a certain period of time---so I don't have to worry halfway home about "did I turn it off??" It also turns off if it's tipped over.

That's smart. The one she uses has to be turned off...and there have been times she almost forgets to do it.

Awe - poor Har! Hope the storms stay away for her today too! It's looking like we could have another one here before too long. Sun was just out a few minutes ago. It might be "one of them kind of days"!
