Hope you're all having a lovely night. I'm just finishing my dinner before I head to the Pines.

The walk-through went great~
Our home looks so beautiful! It's amazing to see everything completed, and looking so spiffy & sparkly.
The last couple of weeks have been so stressful that I hadn't had time to concentrate on all of the wonderful time ahead.
We will come up with a punch list & give it to them in a few days. So far, all I'm finding is minor cosmetic touch-ups.
Gorgeous craftsmanship!
We have our keys! But we won't start moving until they finish our list/ early next week. Hopefully the OC will be issued by Monday.

Good Wednesday, Pinesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

We had a power outage that affected most of the county this morning, and we're finally getting back to normal. I don't know what caused it, but it was obviously pretty serious.

I went to lunch with some of the folks in the office today. Unless a vendor or the company is buying, I usually go home for a sandwich, but I've decided to go with Russell more often. It's difficult to watch him already struggling with ALS. His right hand is so weak now, he can't open a door or eat with it, and he can barely write. Bless his heart, I wish I could help.

But, he's always in a good mood and interested in the job. I'm not sure I could be, in his position. He's a stronger man than I.

The kids went to another VBS last night, then they jumped in the pool when they got home. I don't know what time they came in, but it was way after I went to bed. Ah, to be young again!

Well I do have 3 times the amount of insulation on me compared to you. So it makes sense I need it three times as cold.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends.

do not start into work until noon today so plan to work around here this morning and hopefully finish making this dress.
We have a severe thunderstorm watch for today.
Getting that sensor for my ABS finally fixed on Saturday, will be nice to have noise stop.
Hard to believe summer is almost here at last. It has been a cool spring with only occasional blasts of hot days. That said, this weekend is supposed to usher in summer with hot temps, maybe we will head to the lake on Sunday.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Can't believe that we entered the 2nd half of June. I wound up going to the Chinese buffet last night. We were originally going to go to Applebee's but decided to go there in a couple of weeks. They are both in the same shopping area so it's like a win-win situation. 2 good places to eat. I hope everyone is doing ok here.

I did some more research and made some changes that improved our ranking on Google. I still don't fully understand it, but oh well.

Don't feel bad---some people make a CAREER as consultants about SEO and paid search. It's a big deal in advertising now---owning the digital space for your product/service. Google is just one tip of the iceberg that includes all the social media platforms as well as search engines.

Busy, busy, busy... Seems like we all get this way from time to time. And now it has been my turn the last few days. Work and ministry projects have had my nose to the grind stone and it looks like some of that won't come to an end until August 14.
It's been hot (90's) and sticky here, but that's just part of living in the south.
