Good morning all my Christmas loving friends
going to be a hot weekend here and I have the whole thing off.
But today, I go into work and it will be a busy one with new sales starting today and fathers day on Sunday.
Hope you are all well and that those who want no rain stay dray and those who need it get some. Thinking about all of you and your pets that you are all well and healthy or at least getting better.
My day off started early with a walk in the park with Loki. Absolutely not a cloud in the sky, perfect weather. Of course it will be a day for chores and grocery shopping but as always, I'm hoping to get everything done before noon so I can just enjoy my time off. Have a great day everyone!

It's going to be a different kind of weekend. I have Mom tonight so I stayed at the lake last night (some of the neighbors were up) - I'm trying to talk Mom into staying with us at the lake tonight - she said she will think about it! I'm guessing she will want to be at home though, and that's ok! I have some food to make for Fathers Day. This is the 1st year we will not be hosting in probably 15 years. My SIL (Jims sis) wants to have it at their campground so I guess that's what we are going to do! I'm good with that - she can take care of all the meat, plates, napkins, plasticware, condiments, buns, etc!Tomorrow there is a "Kick off to summer" at a beach/shelter houses at the lake. They have bands, DJ's, 50 vendors, a color run, a corn hole tournament, a beer pong tournament... should be a good time. I would like to take the pontoon over to check it out. We'll see how the day plays out!
Next week will be busy getting ready for our town festival! Always a fun week!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!
Jacob's band had a gig last night, and I just can't stay away. We were out till 1AM. That's way too late for me these days LOL! But the boys gave another awesome gig, and they get better each time. For some reason, though, Jacob just won't invite the old man on stage. Hmmm, I thought I taught him better than that.
Tonight, Jacob is playing in his music school's recital, so it's back in the car when I get off work today. But the recitals are always professional, on stage at Georgia Southern University's Fine Arts building. That's where Jacob's starts school in a couple months.
And, of course, we're heading to Nashville, TN on Monday for a few day s. Nancy's mom & dad, and her sister, gave Jacob a trip to the Grand Ol' Opry. It's a little over 7 hours from here, so most of our 3-day trip will be on the road. Still, it should be fun.
