Maggie's doing pretty well, thanks for asking. She's still coughing on & off. She just finished another round of antibiotics, I'm hoping it doesn't flare up again. Trying to keep her cool, the heat and humidity aggravates her. It's going to be a long summer. My A/C will be working over time!

Typical day for me. I have a couple of errands to run and then I'll be working on my daily chores. I also need to run to the mall later this afternoon. I have to buy a purse for my nephews wedding. I'm not sure what jewelry I'm wearing with the dress either, so I have to figure that out as well. All of this running around for my nephews wedding and I'm just a guest! I can't imagine when all of other my nieces and nephews start getting married, and my girls too. They're all pretty close in age. I'm going to need a job by then!

Happy Friday Eve, Holiday!Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!!!We were able to have our pre-fest party last night with no issues whatsoever from the weather. As a matter of fact, we didn't see much rain AT ALL overnight. So much for that 1-3" we were supposed to get. I'm ok with not getting those nasty storms they kept preaching about but most people were bringing in their flowers, etc to prepare. I told my hubby around midnight I was just going to bring in "a couple" of my favorites, he helped but not w/o rolling his eyes....
OOPS! So this morning I got to carry them all back outside. I brought them in for no reason at all!Anyway, there's a chance of storms again today but I haven't seen anything about severe weather, although I don't know why we should believe the weather peeps anyway!
It was starting to lightening just as we were going to bed. Gracie went straight down the basement, so I slept down there with her. I didn't hear any thunder boomers at all over night, but we must have had some. I slept great! Gracie's had the right idea!

Our pups are smart cookies, Harlowe did the same thing last night.
Went to her safe spots, I slept right through the tornado warnings-oops. I was exhausted! Hope Gracie is doing better today, Harlowe was still nervous this morning. Although, the move doesn't help =]

Good Morning, Rich!Good morning to all my Christmas friends!
That "Christmas feeling" came over me last night as I sat in the living room on my iPad with all the lights off. I just had that overwhelming feeling that the tree should be up and the Christmas lights should be filling each room with their warm glow. I sure do long for that special time of year.
With the boss away yesterday and today, that left me to deal with the every day issues that pop up in my small corner of the company. Nothing major, I just can't get much of my own work done. But that's OK, we deal with it and adjust. But as a special bonus for the day, Michelle just called and she would come meet me for lunch. Yay! Lunch date!

We'll be at the beach on Saturday for Leon Day or Half Christmas. I wonder if I'll see anybody sporting Christmas attire? I'll be wearing my Charlie Brown Christmas t-shirt. That ought to get some stares.
