Merry Wednesday MMC....my Dad is home and doing well. I am just working today and trying to stay cool..it is a hot one here right now but it is summer so I will take it. Hope you all have a great day!

How's Har doing in her new home? Did you enjoy your day off yesterday?

Har's doing pretty well in the new house, thanks. She has found her favorite spots =]
The floor upstairs threw her for a bit, as it's slippery. So, we had to buy a rug and a gripper for underneath so she could still make it up on the love seat & leather trunk in front of the window upstairs.

She has still been having some issues, intermittently. I took her in for an x-ray on Saturday, and we were able to rule out bladder stones. I'm supposed to keep a close eye on her, and see how she does in the next couple weeks.

My day off was nice, but went too fast! I sure needed it!

I love holiday beers! Of course some turn into BLahhh. Wonder if there is a way to mailorder it? Our local sellers just stock the usual "swill" and act like it kills em to special order anything.

Good morning everyone.
Got up a little later than I wanted to this morning, but oh well. It is time to start painting and getting yard work done. My wife and I moved furniture around last night so she could paint today. I am about to head outside to deal with the yard. Unfortunately, it is going to be hot and humid today. And then it is going to rain this afternoon. It looks like I have until about 3:00 today.
Well, here I go... no seriously, I am going outside.... no really, I am... on my way....I mean it this time.... moving now.....

Hello everyone. Well, we had a heat index of about 104 yesterday and I think the actual temp busted the 100 mark, or got close to it. Today we have a high of 99. Long story short, I'm counting down the days until I'm in my beloved San Juan mountains in southwestern Colorado!

Awe - that's nice that she can still get up to her spots with the help of rugs!! Our friends dog wouldn't walk forward on hard wood floors b/c of the slipperiness, but he would walk backwards! Goofy dogs!

Continued prayers for Har! I hope she continues to do well & gets better every day!

Taking a quick break and then heading back out. It is sooooo humid right now. I have made some progress, but I still have a ways to go. I will probably be at it again tomorrow morning.
As I was pulling some weeds out from around the mailbox and basketball hoop, I realized that the weeds were actually growing through the black "anti-weed" ground covering that is down. Guess it was not as "anti-weed" as it claimed. lol

They never are. *Frustrating*
