Hello everyone.
We got a lot done in and around the house yesterday. My wife is still working on painting in the living room, and I went out and finished a nasty weed/spider infested corner of the yard.
I still need to head to Lowe's and finish up a small area in the front yard.
Then, of course, we have to move the furniture back into place and put shelves back up and all of that. I am sure that will go into tomorrow. I am also sure that my wife will be wanting to head out and buy a new couch to go with the new wall colors. That will probably be this weekend, and something tells me we will end up at IKEA.;)

To make the outside work tolerable, I have been listening to Christmas music nonstop.:locotree
Sounds like some productive hot days!!! Hope you can finish it up tomorrow! Have fun at Ikea! :D

You amaze me! You know Bob Nelson's act, too!
We went to see him because we love him in "Brain Donors." We had great seats very close to the stage in a small venue both times we saw him, and we still talk about him.

We first saw Borge when he was 88 years old---he did a one-man act and worked for about three hours with no intermission, including falling off the piano bench and Phonetic Punctuation. An amazing man. Have you ever heard his LP where he tells Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales, accompanying himself on the piano with Danish folk tunes? It's marvelous!

I loved Victor's piano and Phonetic Punctuation. I have not heard the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tales...I'll have to check it out.

I saw Bob's HBO special and absolutely fell in love with his act. I've seen his Jiffy Jeff act on YouTube. I can't get enough of this guy. I follow him on FB and hopefully one of these years I'll make it to Branson and see his show.

Have you ever heard of Wes Harrison? He used to do all the sound effects for WB. My dad introduced him to me. His most famous skit is the Duck Hunt where he tells stories with sound effects and is also hilarious.

Merry Friday Eve, Snowflake..have a good day! I hope Har is doing ok!
Thanks, SnowflakeMom!
Hope you have a wonderful day, too!

Harlowe is hanging in, thanks. Still having some issues, but we are keeping an eye on her, and going to report back to her vet and see how she wants to proceed. Bladder stones were ruled out, thankfully, this past weekend with an x-ray.

Thanks for checking in on her! <3

Good morning MMC....merry Friday Eve. Just work today and trying to stay cool. I am also going to try to get a workout in today. Going to be another hot and humid day but they are saying some afternoon/evening storms...we'll see. Hope everyone enjoys their day!
Stay safe & cool today!

Good afternoon MMC!! Almost time for the fastest hour of the day! :P

Happy Thursday MMC! I hope you're all doing well. Still waiting to get a new date for this crazy project we have that was placed on hold. Someone suggested October and I was like, uh uh! No one is messing up my holiday ramp up! These fools better stick to the summer time frame. :p
Amen!! :D
Merry Friday Eve Frosty!
Fingers crossed for you!
Have a wonderful day!

I've DVR'd enough Hallmark Christmas movies this week to get me through the rest of 2016! I've watched a few and deleted them. I don't want to fill up the DVR because we all have so many other shows we record weekly. November Christmas has been my favorite so far!

No more planned vacation for us until Labor Day weekend. I hate for school to start on August 8 (DD will move up a school, into 6th grade), but I look forward to Labor Day weekend and the beginning of "the -bers".

Hopefully we are nearing completion of our home addition. Walls are being painted and flooring installed. DH & I are sleeping on our bed in the living room & DD is sleeping next to us on the couch. All of our bedroom furniture is crammed into the living & dining room. It's kind of like camping at home! The sheet rock dust almost did us in, but that part is over. However, we'll probably be cleaning the dust off of/out of things for months.

Hallmark ornament premier on Saturday & I'll be at the closest Hallmark store. They open at 7:00 a.m., but I don't know if I'll get there that early. It's a 45 minute drive to get there. They have our wish list ornaments packed up and ready for us, but there is a limited edition Star Trek ornament that I need to get for DH so I want to get there early. I will also pick up the ornaments that Mom gets for the granddaughters. She kept all four of them yesterday and they picked out what they wanted.

It's a cool, rainy day here after weeks of 90+ temps and no rain. I'm burning a "winter" candle and listening to classic Christmas music today. I'm in the mood!
I'm so excited for the Premiere too, whitney!
I am checking out a different local store for it this year, it's going to be so festive & fun. Always a merry break from the heat of summer.
Hope you have a wonderful time!

November Christmas, The Christmas Card, and A Dog Named Christmas are three of my favorites.

I'm sure you'll love your new addition! Will it affect how you decorate for Christmas? How exciting for you guys :)

Thanks! We were ready to do this two weeks ago, just waiting on a data migration. Not sure where they got October from. Weirdos! If I miss one cider mill or pumpkin spice beer I am haunting them forever!
Ha ha! Love it!!
They better not mess with you ;)

Good move with the Christmas music!
It sounds like you and your wife have been very productive!

Yeah it's hot here too. We are supposed to get some thunderstorms this afternoon or evening!
We have humidity and storms today, too. The temps have dropped 10 degrees because of the rain though, so at least we have that going for us ;)

Merry Thursday FKB!
We all need to just stick to the schedule. Everything will be so much smoother if we do! :D

Does anyone remember an episode of the Merry podcast that discussed Christmas/santa themed destinations? I believe one was in Indiana? I'm trying to find the episode in the archives or get a list of these spots, I want to visit a few in the future.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! :gifty
