Thank you, I hope not either!
I don't worry too much about it; I live in a residential neighborhood. But there IS the possibility that a lightning strike or sparks from someone's grill could set something alight, and fire would spread quickly in this weather. We've had a few "high fire potential" warnings this summer.

Well we'll keep our fingers crossed that doesn't happen!! xx

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a pretty quiet afternoon yesterday. Everyone was at the campground, so I stayed home and vacuumed the pool. It sounds like work, but it's really relaxing for me.

After that, I showered, made a turkey sandwich & watched Paranormal Activity 2. Scary!!

So, we have been having some issues at our house with water pressure. Last week the plumber came out & replaced the pump switch. It seemed for help for a few days but then we started having issues again. They came back yesterday - they had to lower our well pump 30 feet!

We were running out of water!! We need rain SO bad!! We have never had a problem with that before. They said they have had to lower several already this year! We have a chance of rain tomorrow! Fingers crossed! xx (although here is a local outdoor wedding tomorrow - I don't want to wish that on them either!)

We have a ban in effect right now. No lawns, cars,houses,pools or topping off pools etc

What is this "shade" thing you speak of?...Given the over night temperatures, and the A/C running, I think the sun is wearing a night costume to fool us. What a prankster!
