We had some more rain last night, while were at the BBQ restaurant, so it was a pretty good evening! After supper, Nancy & Elizabeth went to our niece's house to watch Zootopia with our great-nephews, and Jacob was jamming at a buddy's house, so I went home and watched a UFO documentary with Lulu. Great evening, all around!
Jacob's band has a gig tonight, so we're going out again!

It is funny you mentioned band camps. This is the first year in about 15 years that I have not gone to a least 1 band camp. For several years I went to 2-4 band camps. Lots of fun, but always sooooo hot and humid.
I hear that-I always do my best to keep things straight and to say thank you to folks who man the cash registers!
It's always disheartening in Walmart to see all the clothes that have been dropped on the floor, frozen food left on a shelf in electronics, and opened food packages on shelves.
Were these people raised by wolves?!?
Was in WalMart today and one of the workers showed another worker a giant blue Easter bunny in a basket that he found unopened on top of the beer cases...what in the world?! @NcGunny was right-where do the crazy ideas like that come from?!
I'm teaching in two weeks for two weeks-woodwind tech. 5th year in a row at this school and 8th in a row total! Definitely get the better deal though because we just sit inside and work most of the time rather than having to always be in the sun!

We are going to finish Stranger Things on Netflix tonight, order pizza and cheese curds, have some Oktoberfest Ale, and wind down from the week.
We plan to grill out this weekend, as the weather is going to be gorgeous!
We may go for a hike, and will probably take a trip down by the river with Harlowe.
Other than that, just catch up on some reading out on the deck =

This morning we drove to Quebec City and took Loki for a 2-hour walk along the shore. Poor little thing is pooped now. Even at 10am it was painfully hot and humid, thank goodness we had a breeze haflway through.
Now we're cuddled up on the bed watching the Olympics opening ceremonies with the AC on. Hoping this humidity breaks tomorrow so we can enjoy more time outside.
