Good afternoon all my Christmas loving friends !
Enjoying beautiful Vermont even though this trip has been a wet one with all this rain.
My daughter capsized her canoe, lost her phone at bottom of lake and looks like our cannon camera and all the lenses are toast. But she had on her life jacket and despite having to swim back to shore towing the boat behind her she is fine. She was rather shook up for awhile because she was alone at the time. Another boater was out there and just went past her not even offering to help.
Thought it was standard to help someone on the water. But like I said, grateful she is fine.
Still 4 days to go !
Having dinner out tonight at a Chinese buffet, going to be good !
See who we had dinner with the other night....

Adrian spent an hour & a half at the vet's office today. Harlowe had an exam, and a few different tests run. They did full labs, and an x-ray on her heart as well. So now we wait for results, and should hear back sometime tomorrow. I hate the waiting game.
I stopped to see her over lunch, and she was pretty stressed. But I'm still happy I checked in on her.

I never made it to the supermarket, I'll have to go tomorrow. My two youngest had off from work today so we decided it was a good day to run up to the college bookstore to make their purchases. I would gladly give them my card to use but they insist that the cardholder be present. The girls were a little bit bothered that they had to go with me lol, but there ended up being many other parents there as well. So we're back to two being in college now since my middle one decided she wanted to return to school. The cost of those text books really add up!
And now I'm hungry...
We are planning to celebrate Jims birthday this weekend too, since yesterday was his actual birthday & he didn't get home from work until 8:30 last night...
