Sounds like a great night, Holiday! Have a great day!Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day, Happy Hump Day but most exciting, Merry 4 Months Until CHRISTMAS EVE!!!
We went out in convertibles with family last night. Had a nice night, a nice ride - we sat outside on the patio at the restaurant. I think just about everybody except mom had wings or chunks. They were very good! Funny thing is we were using money left over from our family Olympic games (My BIL wouldn't take the money everyone left for him since he brought & made all the chicken that day) Anyway....our bill was $181 something & we had $180 in the kitty! HA! So basically we all ate, drank & only had to leave enough $$ for a nice tip! That's a good night!
So is anyone doing anything special today/tonight or tomorrow to celebrate 4 months until Christmas Eve &/or Rudolph Day? I'm going to have to think about that!

Hope your 1st day back to work goes well! The coffee table sounds like a perfect spot for a village scene. I would love to see a picture!G'day all. Hump day for some, but the end of the first work day for me. Oh well, someone has to do it.
Time to clean up my office a bit. I actually have a coffee table in here against the wall that I think will host a village scene this year. Have to change things up every now and then. Have a glorious day everyone.

Happy Pines Day...day 3 of vacation is going well, nice and relaxing! Today we are going to my MIL's pool with my other niece, she is leaving for college tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great day!
You pretty much summed it up on how I feel too!Very much BOTH!! I'm NEVER ready to put the boats, convertible, bicycles away for winter ~ never ready to close up the trailer at the lake & say goodbye to all our friends out there. Never ready to not be able to hang laundry on the line or hang out on our patio. Grilling out is so much easier in the spring/summer/early fall. I love going outside & not needing a coat! Love being able to walk in daylight before work in the morning. BUT I also love bonfires, football, fall colors, the fireplace going, pumpkins, mums, baking/cooking more, and of course the Thanksgiving & Christmas season! It's so bitter sweet....but there's nothing I can do about it so might as well enjoy it ALL!

Ba ha ha ha ha ha!! That is hilarious!!!Thanks! It was lots of fun. Lots of laughs! So we walk in with 11 of us, we all get seated & the waitress asks what we are out celebrating. My brother in his most serious voice points at Emma (the Amish lady who stays with Mom & is fully dressed in her Amish dress & hat & says...) "She just got out of jail tonight so we are taking her out for dinner!" Emma's face was priceless!!!My Mom scolded him. Ha ha ha ha!!
Isn't it funny, how some people say it has to be within a set time frame, and some just go with how they feel and what they like!Funny - they are having a debate on Fox & Friends right now about Pumpkin Spice Latte... Steve Doocy says it's not Pumpkin Spice Latte season until after Labor Day!! Dare him to come here & say that!!

It really was. The waitress asked Emma how long she was in & she replied "6 month!" She put her hands over her face laughing & said "I always have to be on my toes" LOL (the waitress obviously knew it was a joke by now everyone was cracking up)Ba ha ha ha ha ha!! That is hilarious!!!

Exactly! The others argued with him that Halloween decorations are up in the stores so it's ok. Ha ha! I say drink what you're thirsty for!
