Barely over a week to go until September, the month Christmas Blossoms 2016 begins!
(Which reminds me, I had better make some inquiries at Crabtree to see if "A Christmas To Remember" will be there this year and when. There are actually a couple of empty spaces available they could use.)

I've got to say, all of our meteorologists deserve a bonus after today. They've been on air 7 hours and counting now covering all of the tornado warnings.

Yes, Folks.
As of today --- as of this very day --- we have entered the LAST third of our Countdown to Christmas Day 2016.
Can we believe it? (Well, based on past experience, I would say so.)
And our next marker? Well --- that can wait until tomorrow. Let's get over this one, first.


Our very-pleasant-for-August weather continues for a second day with both lower temps and lower humidity. Looks like we will get at least one more day of this before the h&h begins to return.
Right now, we have started off at a rather coolish 69 degrees here in the capital city.

I hope that headache will go away SOON. Multi-day headaches are the pits. Have you ever tried Excedrin Migraine? Sometimes that will work for me if nothing else has.

I'm already picturing how Rollins is going to react with the tree. The first Christmas Nitro almost took the whole tree down.

My wife and I have already talked about the kittens with the trees, we know it won't be pretty once the realize they can climb them.

I spent most of my day in my freezer at work, setting it up for inventory and for the turkeys which are 7 weeks away. Clean it out now, all we have to do is maintain it now.
I came home and mowed the lawn, it has been 2 weeks, but it was a hay field with all the rain we have gotten.

Day off tomorrow.
