Who's ready for the weekend?

Good morning to all my MMC friends. Today, unfortunately, will be kinda quick. I think every free weight and dumbbell that we could possibly use got shipped in last night along with a couple of pallets of oil for automotive. So to say I got my workout would be an understatement (though I did enjoy the fact that I could still curl the 40s). So the body feels like five miles of bad road and is ready to recuperate.
Nice to be headed into the two digit world of Christmas by the time I get back to work. Things are really starting to come around and I am getting a few weird looks as I walk by singing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas".
I hope everyone that has the weekend off will enjoy a fantastic Friday to get in the mood. I'll be on longer with all of you tomorrow, I promise. Till then...

My Grandmother who was in her 80s was the same way. She always had to "run out" as my uncles would say to her.

Love it! I wish Mom would have just a little of that. She's content at home. She loves to go out but then gets anxiety to go back home after an hour or so. Mom #2 is happiest leaving at 8 am, returning at 10 pm. LOL

And yes, you read that right.
Christmas Day is precisely ONE HUNDRED DAYS from this date.
And starting tomorrow, BOTH of our counts will be in DOUBLE-DIGITS!
(Ah! We have come so far so fast, haven't we?)


Well, the cool weather just keeps holding off and we had another warm and humid one yesterday. The weather service says it should be better today. I hope so, as that lawn really needs mowing!
Right now, we are at 71 degrees here in central NC.

Two reasons to celebrate today! Thanks you, Crown! This Milestone Day is extra special. One hundred days remain until our favourite day of the year... and, only 58 days remain until the Christmas Season kicks off? Christmas music and Seasonal excitement is indeed just around the corner!

It's amazing, isn't it?
We used to live outside of the city in our rental town home, but never had The opportunity to sit out and enjoy it in our own space, yard, and deck area. You were pretty much on top of the next person/home.
That's what I missed about Wisconsin when living in Nevada-the people, and beautiful nature! Nevada had its own beauty, in the mountains & desert landscape, but home is home!

It is amazing - what we sometimes take for granite! There is beauty everywhere...well, almost everywhere!
I just looked at our forecast. We are supposed to have rain/storms off & on from 6pm tonight until 10am tomorrow, so not sure how much of the harvest moon we will get to see!
