What a relief your husband fixed your dryer. Those things can have such an impact as we need them so much. Glad to hear Maggie is coping with her walks . I am sure she appreciates the air so I'm glad she can enjoy it. Dinner sounds Amazing! Yum! I've seen some highlights of the debate this morning on the news. Have a great Tuesday!
I don't think I asked but did you make it the Dr. On friday about your ear. I hope you have some relief soon. Glad Har is hanging in. You are Both troopers.
I'm okay. I think I have a touch of a bug but it's not too bad. Also allergies Ugh! Mr Festive seems to be coming down with it too. This time of year is terrible for bugs as the temps even out.
Thinking of you and hoping and praying you feel much better very soon as well as Har.
Morning everyone I hope the start of the week has been kind to you all. Hectic end to last week for me. My mother ended up in hospital and I ended up doing 5 hour round trip drives every night to see her. Thankfully she's on the mend and getting home today. Everyone has been warned there's no more getting sick in the family lol I haven't the time. A couple of incident free weeks please.

Yes, I left work for a bit & went in. The nurse said I shouldn't wait until the following week & insisted on that day. The doctor confirmed the swollen lymph node in my neck, and said it's up against a nerve causing some of the pain I'm feeling. Also, she believes it's allergies causing the lymph node to swell & inflame my ear & throat. I was glad she didn't think I had any infection, but it's hard to believe that allergies are causing such pain. Sheesh. So I'm still seeing my chiropractor, taking allergy medicine, and applying heat as needed.
Hope you heal & get relief from your bug & allergies! Thinking of you, and sending hugs. Hope you are able to rest a little extra.
Harlowe was very tired last night, didn't seem up for anything else. So I continue to watch & see what today will bring.

Just TEN days from today, we will enter the HOME STRETCH marker to the Season -- the FINAL 10 percent of the voyage!
The point at which things begin to move at an ever-accelerating speed.
(Better fasten your seat belts, Guys!)
Really rather coolish here yesterday, with no more rain but with residual dampness.
Currently, we have 69 degrees showing on our thermometer and we may see a return of precipitation later.
