Good morning ~
Merry Pines Day!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 70 degrees. Woke up feeling pretty tired and headachey this morning. There's not too much going on so I'll probably be able to take it easy. I just have to work on the laundry and I'll take Maggie for a couple of short walks. I may start working on my Thanksgiving and Christmas menu plan as well. That's about it.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! 50 days from today is Thanksgiving in the U.S. That blows my mind. It's a beautiful day out here (finally). Looks like we are in for some beautiful weather the rest of the week. Might get some rain on the weekend unfortunately. But it looks like that hurricane is going to affect the southeast mostly and then hopefully head out to sea.

Well Gracie's vet just called. Her creatinine level is up in her urine so they want to do a sterile urine test. They will send it off to a lab to check for other infections, or if this is due to the disease. UGH...oh my Gracie girl!

Oh Holiday, I'm so sorry! I'm praying for that sweet girl. And you!

Be prepared all... our beloved Mama cat (we had Mama and her baby, aptly named "Baby") passed away recently. Baby has been a bit lonely and a friend of ours is fostering a litter... what do ya know? We fell in love with one (well, all!) and he/she is ours as of THURSDAY! I will be sure to send photos of these new tiny little kitten! Eeek! The kids were so sad to say goodbye to Mama so this will do us all good!

I'm so sorry for your loss. But congratulations on the new kitten!

It looks like that crazy hurricane is going to get pretty close to us, so I'll have to spend this evening putting away patio furniture and getting the grass cut. If we get that wet, it'll be days before the yard dries enough for cutting, given our humidity. And my yard already looks like a tropical rain forest.

Thank you all! It's hard to imagine there is anything wrong. She's so happy & crazy! I'm taking her in Friday morning at 8am. We could have waited til next week but I didn't want to have to worry about having to take her next week, all weekend. Makes me nervous!
I really appreciate all the thoughts & prayers for my sweet girl!

Yum! I made a pot roast in the crockpot last week...it was so good!

Ours was so good too! I had smoked it for a little bit on Sunday, then threw it in the crock pot all day yesterday. Quite tasty!

A busy first day back to work after my extended weekend. I had a lot to do, and for awhile I didn't think it was going to get done. I just plugged along and got it done.
Merlin had a good day today, I didn't find any surprises around the house.
My cat Alex, whom I was worried about when we got the kittens, has really taken to kitten Quinn, they are inseparable. He doesn't really care for the other 2, but he loves Quinn. They nap together all the time, Alex cleans him. He is Alex's kitten.
Back to work early tomorrow.
