Christmas Countdown - 2016

Have a Fantastic Friday Eve evening, friends.
I'm heading out. Stopping at Moms, then probably mowing the lawn. Going to see Sully tonight, then staying with Mom. Not sure how I'm going to work this all out in the morning yet to get showered, ready for work, Mom taken care of, (which doesn't take much, it's just havng someone there) then Gracie to the vet & off to work as soon as I can. Whew! Wish us luck!! xx

Almost the weekend, and we are flying by October. We wait all year for these months...it seems like it takes forever for them to arrive, then in an instant they fly by. Lets enjoy each day!!!

My kitty is declining quickly Kidney failure unfortunately. I'm going home to my parents' house to say goodbye Sunday. He's 17 years old! I will miss him sooooo much. Think of my family. I'm pretty sad.

Everything else is going okay. I'm happy for the years I've had with my kitty and how much joy he's brought to our family!

Hope everyone is doing well!! I really am glad for MMC community!

My prayers are with you DoYouHear. I've been there more times than I want to remember over the years. They become so much a aprt of the family. It's good to know that he was enjoyed so many years of love and attention from you and yours. God give you comfort and peace in the days to come.

Good Afternoon, Christmas friends!

We're scrambling to tie everything down. I guess we were hoping the storm would turn away, and it still might, but it looks like it'll be here tomorrow evening. There are mandatory evacuations along the coast. All the highways from Savannah going west are bumper-to-bumper, and the store shelves are being stripped bare.

I understand buying water & canned goods, but things like milk & meat are selling out, too. Oh well. It should only last a day, so we just need to hunker down and "weather" it. LOL

All others in the path, take care!

Evening everyone,

Following our 9 o clock appointment with the Dr this morning my son was sent to hospital. We were there all day and he has had several tests/blood work done.He has been so brave. Finally diagnosed with Mesenteric adenitis which mimics symptoms of appendicitis. He is in a lot of pain and discomfort my poor boy. We've been in hospital all day. So glad they let us come home. He is resting now but it may be a long night again ahead.

Talk about a hectic week. I never saw this coming on top of everything else!!!

Thank you snowflake! It is hard but we all go through it at some point. I'm just glad to have good Christmasy friends here to help me through it!

Yeah by far the worst thing that happened to me in years was losing Nitro in May...but by the same token the best thing that's happened to me in years was getting Rollins. Our pets definitely become one of the most important things in our lives.

While we're having a Summer-like day here, the South of Saskatchewan woke up to close to 40cm of the white sutff this morning (pictured below). Pretty but much too soon.
