Christmas Countdown - 2016

The weather is mostly three B's today: bright, beautiful, and breezy. I have some things on my to-do list today, but I'm being darned slow about getting started ... just enjoying a leisurely morning. I tried calling my doctor's office to schedule a flu shot, and heard something I haven't heard in years: a busy signal! And their website is down for maintenance. So that will have to wait until another day.

Time to take another look at that to-do list. No, wait ... I haven't had any tea yet ... :D

Good Afternoon MerryCarey. How was the tea? Did it get you motivated? Well, did the errands, the lawn is mowed and the Halloween lights are on the arch. Taking a quick break then going to watch a recor ded series show with the birthday girl and then back out for a few more chores.
I'm so glad your day has turned out with beautiful weather... enjoy!

Lol!! We know CG!! I say " Rise up and make your voice heard, tell em we aint taking this Chris Columbus Day..no more" --- (especially cuz I am waiting for paint brushes in the mail from Japan)

I found the perfect solution. I had the foresight to insist on being born on a national holiday. :D

You've got much more energy than me today! I did some audio editing, but didn't get up the energy to do any new recording. I think I know why: I forgot to get that tea. Better go do it now!
 
Good afternoon all. Well, I had to leave school early today, I received a call from the school nurse, Henry was sick and had a fever. Soooo, home we went. That is the nice thing about teaching in the same district your children go to school. It looks like I may have tomorrow off too. The nurse told me she sent 5 kids home from school today at the Elementary! All with fevers of about 102. Something is certainly going around the school.

Be prepared all... our beloved Mama cat (we had Mama and her baby, aptly named "Baby") passed away recently. Baby has been a bit lonely and a friend of ours is fostering a litter... what do ya know? We fell in love with one (well, all!) and he/she is ours as of THURSDAY! I will be sure to send photos of these new tiny little kitten! Eeek! The kids were so sad to say goodbye to Mama so this will do us all good!
