To everyone who has wished me well this week as we said goodbye to Winston, THANK YOU. You all have no idea how much it means to me that MMC community has supported me not only with my love of Christmas but also my hard moments! Thank you for your words of support and well wishes. I'm grateful for you all.

I'm headed home this weekend to see my parents-first trip home without him. I am excited because my mom was given football tickets so we get to go to the local university's football game! It'll be a good distraction. Hope my legs work after running 11 miles tomorrow AM!!

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! I'm glad it's Friday but then again I'm usually glad when it's Friday...a little extra glad being off Monday for a 3 day weekend! Looks like it's going to be gorgeous this weekend. Perfect October weather with temps in the low-mid 60s for highs with lots of sunshine. Next week looks warmer with temps in the 70s on several days! I'll take it. I've noticed Rollins now let's me do my thing more and knows I'm going to come back to him to play/feed him etc...maybe that's part of the trust he has now in me? Not sure but he still follows me around a lot...which is fine with me but he also seems to know that I'm not gonna run away forever and leave him so he'll wait for me while I'm doing stuff that I have to do.

Beautiful day here yesterday with no rain, lots of sun and temeratures in the upper 60's to low 70's.
(Would that it could stay this way for a while but around here, moderate weather does not last long. Normally our transition from Summer to Winter is fairly quick.)
It is currently 57 degrees here under clear skies with no wind.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

We went to mom's for supper last night, and it was great! Stuffed shells with cheese & sausage. Lulu was under the table to whole time, begging. She has a way of getting what she wants with those sad eyes LOL.

It's been a week since the storm, and the limbs are still down in our yard. I don't even know if I'll have time to clean up tomorrow, either. The neighbors are going to KILL me!

Good morning my Christmas friends! Merry Friday!!!
It's a beautiful chilly morning. We didn't hit the expected low of 38 overnight ~ lowest I saw was 44º! I'm ok with that. Wasn't ready for frost ~ especially since the 15 day forecast looks so nice! I didn't want my flowers to freeze prematurely!

I hope everyone's Friday is off to a GREAT start!!!

Merry Friday...we made it through another week! My daughter has a soccer game at 4:15 and then my youngest has b-ball tryouts from 6-7. Then hopefully we will be relaxing. Tomorrow we are meeting my niece, she is a freshman in college and we are taking her out to lunch. Otherwise it should be a quiet weekend! Hope you all have a good day!

Today is my little one's birthday. It's been a busy morning. He was up at 530 so he could open his gifts before school. Picking up both boys from school shortly. Just wanted to wish everyone a great Friday!

Emma hasn't tried this recipe yet, so I have to beat her too it! Every time I give her a new recipe she rushes to bake it so she can rub it in that she made it before me!! LOL She's a pistol!! (but she always shares) But I'm going to get her this time!

A MMC Good Friday Morning to you all. Time to hit the road and finish the poster deliveries.
Luckily, there is coffee to go... lol. No real huge plans beyond that and getting ready to enter day four of five. My daughter wants to cook us some kind of Mexican casserole dish for tonight, so I won't have to prepare anything for supper.
