Trying to appreciate this unseasonable weather... ran the last two days and walked a few miles this morning. I have to volunteer at the book fair later today at school and I'll ride my bike. But really, I'd much prefer COLD and WINDY and OVERCAST!!!

Me too. This hot weather is getting depressing. We are also in a drought. Praying for lots of cold and snow this winter.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Well I got a text from a friend of mine that her father passed away on Monday. He wasn't sick or anything. He had a massive heart attack on Sunday and passed away Monday. Sad. I don't know her for too long but she's a good person and I feel bad about it. I always feel when something bad "out of nowhere" happens it's worse than when you can prepare yourself for it. Maybe not for some people but that's how I am at least. Anyway, sorry to bum anyone out! It's another nice warm day here. The last one before the October chill returns. Hope everyone has a good day! Since I bummed you out with my post I'll post something funny in a moment.

My brother had taken 2 cookies for snack last night. He put his dish down, turned around for a few seconds to do something on his phone. When he turned back around to take his first cookie out he said wait didn't I take 2 cookies? There was only 1 in his dish...View attachment 32423

I too hope the canned food continues to help. I put a partial spoonful in her bowl at lunch & she ate a little b/f I gave her probiotic. Then I brought her to the groomer where I got to see the new Wheaten puppy, Emmu! She is sooooo cute. I could have held her all day!! She was mesmerized by Gracie - I thinks he thought it was her mommy! So sweet!

Ha ha - gotta love some Corona with lime!

I hardly saw our nephews...boys night in the basement. I went down a few times to chat with them, bring them snacks & drinks... have to spoil them when we get a chance. LOL And I haven't really seen much of Jim this week so far either - busy at the farm. But the lucky guy having the whole beauatiful week off.

Good Wednesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

It's been a busy day again, sorry I'm late posting. Russell is having more and more trouble with motor skills, so I've been doing some keying for him this morning. Bless his heart. I wish I could do more for him.

Jacob's band was awesome last night at the county fair! There was a professional sound stage crew on site ,and they had the instruments and microphones mixed perfectly. The crowd loved it!
