A very good morning to all the MMC members. Second day down at work. Management getting nervous like always as the back store rooms fill up to overflowing. Glad that is one headache I no longer have. Went down to the DMV to get new registrations for both cars and it seemed like Christmas early... no one in line!
Then stopped at the police station to drop off some cars keys that I found by the house. I'm thinking they were dropped at Halloween. I feel sorry for the people that lost them. I hope they had a spare set with them. Not much else going on, so it is time for some Bible study and then off to bed so I can get up for a portion of tonight's game.

I try to! Sometimes I'm home later, and even with normal times there's only a few hours before bed. But the free time I have is spent with Adi and Har. I've slowly started bringing Christmas out, Adi has my big tree ready for me to decorate, bless his heart.

And the gem surprised me with Packer tickets for this weekend!

What a nice surprise to get Packers tickets. I think he knows you really need a fun time this weekend after working so hard all week. Have a fabulous time at the game!

Good Thursday morning! 2 days to go before my two-week staycation. I'll try and get as much done as possible today so that I can finish at a decent hour tomorrow. I feel a cold coming on though (sore throat, congestion, sneezing) hopefully it's nothing. Wishing everyone at great day ahead!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Mama made it home safely last night from her 2-1/2 weeklong trip to the mountains. I know she loves it as much as I do, but there's always something to be said for coming home, too. We're going back in a couple weeks for Elizabeth's birthday present, but I doubt mama will be ready to leave home so soon.

Jacob has joined the chorus at the university, and his first performance with them is tomorrow evening. We're looking forward to that!

I have to disagree with you this time on the outcome of the game! I'm a Reds fan, but had to root for that other Ohio team! Ah well! What a great World Series!! Congrats to your Cubs!

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing?

This morning I got the news that my son's (who's almost 1 & a half) will have his surgery done just a couple of days before Christmas (on the 23), which means we will be spending Christmas and the holidays in hospital. The surgery was supposed to have been done before so I had been hoping it would all be over by Christmas and I had made all sorts of plans...now everything's changed and I have to change everything. I had even been planning to host a party for my husband's family on the 23rd. Anyway, I just hope the surgery will go well and be successful and there will be no complications and that he won't be in too much pain.

On a more positive note, since we won't be home for Christmas, we'll decorate the house earlier and in hospital hopefully the atmosphere will be merrier than usual. They even give out Christmas gifts to the kids so hopefully the experience won't be as bad for my son.

Oh, K.G., I am so sorry your son has to have surgery. Praying for a successful surgery and quick recovery for him. (((HUGS)))

I know! We better get moving on that, huh!?! I'll keep you posted!

We have all been taking turns staying with mom on the weekends, we have my future nieces bridal shower November 12th, then the wedding Dec. 10 - lots of family time ahead. I don't think anybody is too focused on hosting right now! We'll get there!

My day is going pretty great. Gracie was a jolly pooch this morning. Hope your day is going great too!

Tomorrow is FRIDAY!
This weekend is a big sporting event weekend for the high school where I teach. The football went undefeated (10-0) this season and plays the first round playoff game Saturday evening. The Girls Cross Country Team is headed to state for the 2nd year in a row, having also just won regionals for the first time in school history last weekend. Then, the Quiz Team(which I coach) has our first tournament Saturday.
Plus, here at home, I think Christmas decorations will go up inside! It will be a busy weekend, but should be lots of fun!

Was tentatively scheduled to go to the Mennonite store with my cousin, but I have a lot of projects to finish/work on, so I am going to pass on this trip. Going to be a busy day, but a merry one!

Going to be a nice few days here weather wise. Also going to be a busy couple of days and fun. Our TOPS rally is Saturday and I get to MC the day. About 100 people will be attending with guest speakers and lots of awards. Always great to see everyone for the day.
Work for the day first til 4:30.
