Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good afternoon folks. I've been away a couple of weeks. Hectic time here. Multiple wildfires around us with 1000s of acres burned. The closest fire is now 50% contained and no longer a threat to us. The fires were human caused and some arrests have been made. Hopefully, they got them all and no new fires are started. Thick smoke makes breathing difficult. The extreme drought is also getting us concerned about our well. So far we seem to be ok but just to be cautious, we are washing our clothes in town at the laundromat.
On a happy note, we plan to put up our Christmas tree this weekend.

I´m so annoyed.....Nintendo released the Nintendo Classic Mini (a miniature version of their first console the NES with 30 pre-installed games) on November 11th. . I don´t know what they were thinking....but they did not produce enough of them......it was sold out everywhere before it even hit the stores....noone knows when it will be back in stock......so sad.....that´s what I had wanted to buy for Kandice this christmas.......seems I need another plan.

I'm pretty sure they do it on purpose (create a shortage) at first to get more demand out there. I didn't expect this system to have the demand it does because to be quite frank it's just a remake of a system that's 25-30 years old. That being said I want one...but I'm not paying $500 on EBAY for a system worth $60 lol. I read some guy who sells them on there saying he knows he's looked at as a bad guy but he's swiping up all of them when they go on sale and making a profit.

Does anyone have Christmas decoration ideas for a small apartment?

We have a small home, so we save space by putting a 4.5-foot tree on top of a chest or lamp table. Saves floor space, and the tree is just as tall as a full-size one. You could run garlands (lighted or unlit) around bookcases or pictures on the wall. Find imaginative ways to display Christmas cards in various spots.

That picture is too funny Xmas. I hope the kitties get used to the trees and learn to leave them alone. My husband used to tie the trees to something so they couldn't fall over. My cats didn't bother with the trees too much last year.

They ripped it apart today. I have to set it up again.

yesterday was a rough day,my friends brother was suddenly taken from them. Such a shock. Please pray for the family.
