Love the colored lights.oh, I got the outdoor lights up today with the help of my son. They are not perfect, but they are colourful and just the way he likes them !

Yeah we watched a Youtube video of Black Friday madness and there is no way you would find me shopping in those conditions. Black Friday is not as big in Canada and we don't have any special deals in our store but we hit record sales nonetheless.

Our family Thanksgiving was a good time, watching Christmas movies and eating turkey.
I have tomorrow off now, Inventory is back on again after being told all month there was not going to be one in November. Oh well, what can you do.

Sorry I haven't been posting too much the past few days. My husband had a four day weekend so I've been spending lots of time with him, and the girls as well. It's been nice but we'll get back to our regular routine tomorrow. I have been chipping away at the decorating but I'm still not done. I hope to finish up over the couple of days. I managed to finish tree number two today, my living room is just about done. I hope to decorate my Shiny Brite trees tomorrow. I found finial tree toppers in HomeGoods today that will look great, can't wait to see them on the trees. I'll have to share a picture when I finish. Anyway, I hope everyone is well. Thoughts and prayers for all.

Morning everyone! Happy Cyber Monday. Back to work after Thanksgiving week. Not such a bad thing though when we have the next holiday being umm Christmas! Yeah...can not wait I know. But hopefully these days and weeks leading up to it go slow (or at least not crazy fast). Lots to do from now till the big day(s). Happy Cyber Monday shopping!

I have some exciting news to share and then I best "hit the gym" before my workday begins.
My oldest grandson proposed to his long time girlfriend in front of Santa who was riding on a firetruck during the parade in our Nation's Capitol while wearing his firefighter uniform (he graduated from the Police Academy and Firefighter College so he can do either job when the opportunity calls for it - his brother is a firefighter and taking the paramedic course for a similar reason).
Santa announced to the crowd that she said, "YES!" I'm delighted that he chose such a special and merry event to "pop the question"; looks like I helped raise a Christmas Lover!!!

Yes, it's hard to belive but we are just about ready to wrap up the next-to-the-last month of 2016. This year has really flown by just like so many others, at what seems like an ever-acelerating pace.
And that pace is established by our daily count.
Today's installment:
Days to Christmas Day: 27 (Well, now. UNDER four weeks left!)
On the chilly side here yesterday, but certainly tolerable.
A brief warming trend will establish itself during the course of the week, but toward the middle we could get some rain.
On our back door thermometer right now, we observe 36 degrees under a clear, sunny sky.
The Panthers yesterday? I don't even want to think about it, let alone talk about it!
As such, I proceed directly to my usual "Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks"!
