Snowed in for Christmas? I guess we won't be seeing 65-70 degrees this year on Christmas Eve/Day most likely?

Maybe it's a good thing my bro/sil won't be trying to fly in for Christmas this year! (Still bummed about that but at least they will be home tonight - until Tuesday!)
Merry Thursday Holiday!! We noticed its been quiet also,days are counting down rapidly now. Had a quick snow storm this morning which was very nice.That's awesome! A little surprising as it's been quieter around here lately. Everybody busy Christmassing!!
Speaking of my bro/sil...they will be staying at my moms house. Last night I went there & decorated her porch w/ garland & lights & Jim brought up her tree - I fixed it up a little, I think all the lights work - need to go back & finish that up either at lunch or tonight. It was SO cold inside & outside her house last night. At least if I go back today, I'll be turning the heat up for my bro/sil anyway. At least her house looks more festive & lived in, instead of being so dark all the time. I hate driving by there & seeing it so dark!

Did any of your snow stick? It is flurrying now - wind is whipping it all around. Too bad it's too cold to go out & catch a few flakes! Ha ha!
Ha ha! Glad to hear it!My space heater is doing a fine job of keeping me toasty at the moment. Just makes me cold to look outside! Hope you are staying warm too!
And thank you too for the continued prayers for mom! My bro/sil fly in tonight so she'll be happy to see them, but I'm sure that will really make her wish she were home with them! And of course she'll be missing my nephews wedding. (her oldest grandson)
Looking forward to our shopping trip. Sure would be nice to get through all the goodies I have bought already, but not sure that will happen. Busy night ahead!

We didn't have snow
in the forecast for two days, but it never stopped! It didn't amount to much extra, but it sure is beautiful.
Doggone it! My calendar just popped up to remind me that I have to go to the dentist for my bi-annual cleaning today. My longtime friend and dentist passed away a few months ago, so I have to go to a new guy. Not looking forward to that.
My mom took a personal day since she would have to leave earlyrics anyway since my grandma has anyway dr appt.That means Carolina doesn't have to go to the baby sitter. It also means mom and I have been switching off wrapping presents. I didn't get my errands done but I will get them done tomorrow night. Hoping everyone has anyway great day
My dentist retired in April so in August I went to a new one. He seems pretty good just not "comfortable" with him yet.
Only for a hour or so. Was just enough to cover everything,now its all gone.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. Some years we go out for breakfast before hand, but then we get a late start shopping & an even later return time....I mentioned skipping breakfast this year, maybe an earlier return since I have my nephews wedding on Saturday. I'm just tired of rushing around...seems everything has been rushed since Mom went in the hospital. She agreed - a nice 'n relaxing, fun day!! Bring it on!
I would love some of that unexpected snow for our shopping trip tomorrow - not enough to make the roads bad, just enough to enjoy watching it come down. It can warm up a little though!Very nice!!! Enjoy & stay safe!
