Its a Golden Eggnog Merry. I cant believe I turned my nose up at this heavenly drink my whole life. Soon I will have to wait for 10 months to be able to buy it again unless I try to make it.What kind did you finally get? I've grown fond of the Golden Eggnog (they use only the egg yolks instead of the whole egg). I like the Vanilla Eggnog too. I was mad a couple years ago when they stopped making it. It was back the following year, though!
According to the radar you should be getting snow down there this morning? Nothing here yet..."patiently" waiting!!!![]()
Yeah, I had half a thought of trying to make it myself, too ... I bought an immersion blender a couple years ago when they stopped making Vanilla Eggnog, so I could make my own.Its a Golden Eggnog Merry. Looks like Cookies 'n' Cream ice cream, but don't test that theory.
I love secret Santa's. How fun!!! Hope you get called in for next week Mon & Tues next week!!Good morning, everyone!
How has your Christmas Season been? We're less than two weeks away form the Big Day. So hard to believe. I always mean to come visit, but there just hasn't been much time. It seems as if I am always on the go.
Today, I am back at Russell. I didn't have work yesterday, and it ended up being a Snow Day. I woke up then took a much needed nap from 9:30 until about noon. It felt like I slept forever! Now, I am happy to say that I am here for the rest of the week. Hopefully I will pickup Monday and Tuesday here next week, too, as I am already working Wednesday. It would be great to have no more days off before my holidays begin next Thursday - technically, classes go until the afternoon of Friday, the 23rd, but I am taking the final two days off in order to get a decent amount of time at home.
Tonight, I have a few fun things to do. We're having a Secret Santa at Russell, and I have to purchase a few daily gifts for my person. It's a fellow teacher that I know pretty well, so it should be fun trying to have her guessing who might be her Santa.
Well, I should get back to class. It's a quiet period right now, thankfully. I had two periods of gym where I was the main teacher of two classes at once, as all of the gym teachers are out for the day. At least most of the students listen to me! It could certainly have been much worse.
Have a great Tuesday, everyone! I hope your week has been off to a great start, and there is plenty of Christmas in your day. Merry Christmas!!
Hard to imagine! All this talk of snow and it's almost 70°F here!
Its a Golden Eggnog Merry. I cant believe I turned my nose up at this heavenly drink my whole life. Soon I will have to wait for 10 months to be able to buy it again unless I try to make it.
We always make homemade eggnog for Christmas in July. MmmmmmmmYeah, I had half a thought of trying to make it myself, too ... I bought an immersion blender a couple years ago when they stopped making Vanilla Eggnog, so I could make my own.
Sorry to hear that Henry is sick & I hope he feels better quick....but it sounds like a great way to spend the day! Enjoy the movies & the snow!It is snowing! It started about 10:15 this morning. It was coming down pretty good for a while. It has eased up now, but it looks like it should pick back up in a little bit. I had to come home early from work, Henry (my youngest) started running a fever. But we are at home, watching the snow and watching Christmas movies!
Sooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!!! We were supposed to get 1-3....I still see green'ish grass!!!The news lied when they said the heavy stuff was over. We are closing in on 4 inches now. I think I'm going have to shovel again. Ugh.
Nice to see you prancer! I have been wondering how your daughter made out. So glad to hear she's back to her old self!Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends....Hope everyone is having a Merry dad so far...Sorry i havn't been active ehre the past week or so as i have been busy with my little girl...Thanks for all the get well wishes everyone..I means so much to me..Also my little girl is on the mend she seems to be back to her old self again...Merry Christmas Everyone![]()
That's what enjoying the Christmas Season is all about!Happy Tuesday!
The "Scrooge" movie show really got me into the spirit last night. A marvelous movie (the audience was enthralled...didn't hear a peep from them until they laughed at the reformed Scrooge dancing around yelling "Whoop! Halloo!"), then driving home listening to Christmas music and seeing the Christmas lights along the way. Had to have a cup of cocoa before bed! Looking forward to the weekend so I can indulge in more Christmas!
Rub it in!!!
Thanks, Martine~Stay warm over there. We're getting that cold air on Thursday. Have a great day snowflake22.
Have fun celebrating with your Dad and Brother! Let us know what you decide.Good Tuesday morning! Another afternoon/evening shift for me. My brother and dad will be coming over next Tuesday to celebrate Christmas, so I have to figure out what I'm going to serve. Thankfully I have Friday off so I'll be able to get all I need then. Hope everyone will have a great day!
Good for you!!Good morning snowflake!
I made out too well shopping!!! Ha ha!!
Thanks...my nephew smiled all day & night long - not something we see too often. They are a beautiful couple!
Candy day was great...rushed, split up, but nice! Home health & occupational therapy had their 1st meetings with Mom so my oldest sis & Emma were at Moms with them, missing most of the festivities. 2 of my nieces had to leave early. it was just different this year - but all good! We took Emma out for dinner last night for her birthday! That was nice - my BIL is sick so they didn't make it & Jim had to work too late, so he couldn't come, but 12 of us made it. Emma had a pretty good birthday I think!I have plenty for you - come on over!
LOVE the picture of your mom. She looks great & so festive! Glad the cookies turned out great!!
Have a wonderful day!
Wow, that's cold!!

Enjoy the snow, buddy! Stay warm!Well it looks like we are getting our first real snowfall of the season has started. They are saying 1 to 3 inches by noon and its defintely adding up quickly. Then bitter cold moving in but not as cold as Snowflake thankfully.
I hope everyone has a great day!!
Thank you!! It is very cute =]Oh my gosh snowflake - I love that pic of your mom & Har in the window. So adorable! And look at all that snow. How fun!!! Being snowed in & making cookies sounds so cozy. Sorry you weren't able to bake with your sis & niece!
I'm all about freezing time right now!!! Mom is going to require 24/7 care for awhile. Sounds like I'll be staying Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. I'm going to make a list of things I can bake for Christmas while I'm there. I'm also planning to put up her Christmas decorations! She's been sleeping a lot right now, so I should have some down time to get things done!
Hope your brother & SIL have a safe trip back to Massachusetts, it's hard to say goodbye.Hope your brother has safe travels. My bro/sil are heading back to Massachusetts this afternoon!SO nice to have them home. I'm sure you're excited for your bro to arrive!!!
Have a great day!
