Kind of exciting to think that the next time we see snow flakes around we will be getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Happy Saturday MMC! I slept a good 8 hours last night after a week where I didn't sleep so well. That definitely felt good. I actually have some time to relax this weekend which is nice. I'm getting excited and ready for Easter as I hope you all are as well. It really is exciting because it really represents a change in the year and each change we come to gets us closer to that little thing we call the Christmas Season. Have a great Saturday!

It's Saturday! This is the first Saturday in several weeks that I have nothing to do! Looking forward to sitting around the house and relaxing all day.
Henry is playing our Merry Christmas video game on the Wii this morning! So Proud!

And we do appreciate these end-of-the-week respites, now don't we?
But that's not all that is appreciated. Not here in MMC land, anyway.
(And I do believe you know what I'm talking about.)
Days to the Season: 219
Days to Christmas Day: 261
Can we really be only 19 days away from the 200-day Season window so soon?
And how about the ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day? Can that one be only EIGHTEEN days off, now??
Both questions can be answered in the affirmative via a quick check of our Countdown chart located at post #1 of this very thread.
Well, it remained rather windy for a second straight day here yesterday. Continued chilly, too.
Now, today should be nicer with calm winds, lots of sun and warmer temps into the mid-60's.
We have started off on the cold side for April here this morning however, where our back door thermometer reads 46 degrees.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Folks.
And enjoy your much-deserved Weekend to the fullest!

Went to the spring home show this morning. Got a new thermostat for the furnace for only $5. now we can program it.
Finished a cake to deliver in a few minutes.

no, we went out for about 2 hours and came in to a temp of 82'f !
shut off the furnace opened doors and windows. It is still warm in here. My brother thinks we crossed some wires, but I rechecked it and they are all in the right spots. So we are leaving it off for the night and will try it again in the morning. My son shut down the programming and set it to auto so will see what happens.

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with highs in the lower 60's. Not too much planned for today. I'm going to do some deep cleaning to get the house in order for Easter Sunday. The girls are all off today which is nice. My oldest has to attend a surprise 30th birthday party for her fiancées BIL. Her fiancées sister is expecting and she is going to reveal the gender of the baby at the party. How fun! I wish there were gender reveal parties when I had my kids. My husband plans on doing some yard work. I'm going to make lasagna for dinner. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
