Crazy!! I hope it goes back to snow for you....that sleet is nasty stuff!!!Well out storm seems to be in a lull for now. We changed over to sleet/rain but it appears we may go back to snow. We'll see...so far we have about 8 inches.
Thank you! Exactly!Sorry to hear that you need to up her meds! But as long as she is still a happy girl that is all that matters!
Thanks! it went well, and the doctor assured me that missing one meal wouldn't kill me.Hope your appointment went well...and you didn't starve!!![]()
I'm sorry y'all didn't get the answer you wanted. Lulu has to go back for another surgery soon for bladder stones. We buy the special food we were told would prevent it, but it didn't do the job, I'm afraid.Well, I got a call from the vet about Gracie's results. She left a message on the machine. They are going to up her dose of Benazepril - right now she takes 1/2 a pill in the morning, they are upping it to 1/2 in the morning & another 1/2 in the evening. She didn't say why. BUT she did tell me a long time ago that it would probably eventually be increased. I'm assuming the protein level in her urine was too high. DARNIT!!! I just keep hoping for a miracle..."everything looks great, we can REDUCE her medicine..." Doesn't sound like that's going to happen! I'm a little bummed! But as long as my Gracie girl is happy & ornery, we'll do what we need to do!!

Awe no! I'm sorry to hear that. My nieces dog just had surgery a few weeks ago for bladder stones! She is on a special diet now too! (she wasn't previously) I'll be praying her surgery goes very well & she's good as new after. Please keep us posted. (((HUGS)))I'm sorry y'all didn't get the answer you wanted. I hope Gracie improves!
That sounds amazing!!!!!! Enjoy! My house smells fantastic right now. I am roasting a turkey breast and making stuffing from scratch. Love the smell of onions and celery sautéing. So I am enjoying the wonderful smells while watching a Christmas Movie "Snow". I think I will make a pot of Christmas Blend Coffee too![]()
Yeah I measured (a few hours ago) over 12 inches of snow. The drifts in front of my home were actually about 2 feet deep from the wind blowing it. I cleaned it all (took me 2 hours) and everything was covered again lol. Probably gonna wind up with 15-16 inches from this storm. Had a little sleet mix in but thankfully it turned back to snow pretty quickly. Last thing we need is extra ice on top.I don't blame you! It's cold! Is it still snowing?
Last storm when I went running in the snow looked at the neighbor kid who had a snowball and acted like he was gonna throw it at me. Do I want him shoveling my snow? lolThrow a few bucks at a neighbor kid.
Yeah I'd rather lift my weights over my head. It feels less strenuous. It is very heavy!!

Hope you are doing ok in the blizzard! How much snow did you get?Hello Everyone, Hope you're all enjoying your Tuesday. We are under a blizzard warning until tomorrow here in the northeast. Looking forward to Spring for sure. I'm excited about the 1/3 mark coming tomorrow! We are about to climb on to what I like to call the "bridge" segment to the season. The second third of the countdown connects the end of the first third to the beginning of the last third. Definitely some hope there! Take care.
You called this storm last month Gunny when it was 60 degrees and sunny in February.15" of snow in the backyard and its almost a whiteout. Heard they are giving up on plowing for awhile since they cant keep up.
We so far are at around a foot or just over. It is really blowing though so visibility was pretty horrendous coming home. That sound so good!! My husband is making steak, mashed potatoes and
