Good morning ~
Happy Monday!
We're going to have cloudy skies today with rain, highs near 73 degrees. I'm glad it cooled off a bit. Typical day here, I have a couple of quick errands to run and I'll be working on some chores around the house. I also have an appointment later this afternoon to have my hair cut and colored. That's about it for me. Oh I have a recipe for a mozzarella stuffed meatloaf that I'm going to try for dinner. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Morning MMC! Happy 5 months till Christmas Eve! It is raining here this morning and I have the day off of work. We're going to go to IHOP later this morning. The high today is predicted to be in the low 70s. I can't remember the last time it was that cool out. Almost feels like a hint of the Bers to come. Anyway, I hope you all have a great Monday and think about the fact that now we have gone through 7 months since Christmas Eve and only have 5 to go.

And with only 12 days remainig to the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW, we are indeed getting perilously close to single digits to that auspicious marker.
Then?
Well, then we launch a DOUBLE-DIGIT Season count and things will start to move even quicker.

No relief at all yesterday until an evening rain.
My car thermometer read 101 on the way home from the mall yesterday afternoon.
That's 101 air temperature. Heaven only knows what the heat index was.
Today? Well, perhaps a mild relief. (Hey. We will take anything we can get!)
Currently, we start off this new week at 73 somewhat overcast degrees here in central NC.

I think I might have you by a few there young lady...
I also have the CD, but of course there are a few different songs on the special than are on the CD and even a few of those are played differently (like Fozzie bear forgetting his line in the 12 Days of Christmas). If you are ever interested in a copy let me know. No, I do not have "state of the art" equipment, but it is a very viewable copy.

I may take you up on that ... maybe I could trade you a DVD for it.
When I listen to "The 12 Days of Christmas" on the album, I usually challenge myself to name each Muppet as he/she sings ... I have a very good average, and sometimes I name them all!

Good morning everyone. Still listening to the Santa Tracking replay.

We went to Panera this morning. My wife and Henry were knitting and I was working on a paper about Reconstruction. The weather is tolerable today. Not as humid, and not as hot. Still hotter than I like, but then again I don't like anything over 70.

Today starts Little League Football practice for Henry. Actually, he has to miss practice to go to the weigh-in since he will miss the official weigh-in day. But I still have to go to practice, I am one of the coaches. I coached when my oldest played. I coached Junior High Football many years ago. Just another thing to take up time I don't have.

First day of vacation for me it's a rainy day so I ran to the store this morning trying to thaw a small turkey for dinner currently making eggnog. Christmas Vacation on tv Christmas in July ....

A Merry Monday to you Holiday. The weekend was short, but at my daughter's request we ordered take-out from her favorite Mexican restaurant in town and then settled in for a couple hours of TV. Sorry to hear ablout your Mother and I will send prayers her way. Enjoy this final full week of Christmas in July and I hope your weather is cooling off a bit as well...

Yep, Friday is Emma's last day. She's one of a kind - will be hard to fill her shoes. We have 2 sisters coming to stay with mom. One will do one week, the other the next week. Hopefully they work out! xx

What happened to that 78 they were promising me today?? Its going to be 86 now and still around 70% humidity. October can't get here soon enough. Lol!! Not much going on today. Just the same old chores and errands. My Jim shore Santa should be here tomorrow though!! Woohoo!!

Happy 5mths to Christmas Eve!! A rainy, dreary and cool day today. I am just working today...a typical Monday. This is my last full week and then I am on vacation from 8/3 and come back on the 15th. Riviera Maya here we come!! Hope you all have a great day!

Greetings to the whole MMC world. Not too much going on today, but since it will be cooler than it has been, I plan on some yard work. I got a bit nostalgic this AM and decided to watch John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together from 1979. To the best of my knowledge, it was never shown again and has never been released on VHS or DVD. Back then, being in the military, I use to set the VHS recorder to catch a few of the shows I was going to miss while in the missile field to watch later. If I really enjoyed it (like this one), I used a separate recorder to redo it and edit out the commercials. Then when I got a VHS to DVD recorder, I made a copy to play on the DVD and watched it once again.
It really brought back some memories. Anybody else out there even remember the special? Have a fun week everyone...

Good morning .. off from work today but I am running the kids to dental cleanings and eye exams today. Want to get all this done before the back to school crazies start back up. Going to try to stop by the bank to deposit more money into the Christmas Club if not then I will do it one day this week. Debating if I want to relax for bit or if I want to do some more purging today LOL .. It never ends. Have a great day!
