Christmas Countdown - 2017

[Holiday]

Good Tuesday morning! It was pouring hard this morning but now it's clearing up somewhat. It'll be that kind of a day. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift so I'm taking care of some house chores this morning and made supper to go. To be honest, wish I had another day off, I didn't sleep well last night and I am so tired. Had weird Twin Peaks-esque dreams which made for a restless sleep. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

Good morning Martine. I had the same problem Sunday night into Monday morning. But I had so much to do on Monday, that when I hit the sack, I was gone about the same time my head hit the pillow. We had some rain off and on since last night, which makes yard work a little harder today, but hopefully I can get enough done to pretend I did something...
Have a good day and hopefully a better sleep when you get home tonight...

As I pulled together today's lunch, last evening, I had a mental off ramp moment. I needed to open a new brick of cheese, so I went to the drawer, got the scissors, and then for about three seconds couldn't figure out how I was going to slice the cheese with them. Thankfully auto - pilot kicked in, reminded me of the game plan, and the project was successfully completed...with a knife.

Good morning HMG. Suppose to be a bit of light rain today with highs in the lower 70's. Just curious, do you do a lot of the shop today, cook today style? I use to be that way when I was younger and I noticed you make a lot of trips to the store. Anyway, have a marvelous Tuesday and here's hoping you find that time with your parents soon...

I usually go to the supermarket twice a week. Once on the weekend and again mid week to pick up some more things. Two times a week is enough for me!
