Good morning, friends!

I saw it. With my own eyes. Yep. Yesterday, I walked into War-Mart to purchase litter for Simon and realized that I forgot my phone in the car. I thought to myself, "It should be all right. There can't be any Christmas decorations out yet, can there?"

Conveniently, the cat products are near the seasonal section. As I closed in, I saw an inflatable Halloween lawn figure... and then another... then, another... then... Wow. Could it be? Santa Claus! There he was, the (now) traditional Wal-Mart inflatable Santa Claus on the top shelf... in all his glory! A magical feeling came over me like it does every year. Boxes of inflatable lawn figures... boxes of Christmas Trees. No other Christmas displays, but Christmas has made its way to the seasonal section of War-Mart. Wow! The 100-Day Milestone is, indeed, so close... So close I can see it. One more sleep!

I'm teaching in the same classroom again today. The students have been pretty awesome. I hope your Friday goes as well as mine has thus far. Soon it will be lunch, and then there will be only one more class before the end of the day! Have a merry one, friends!
So exciting!!! :D
Have a great weekend Brent. Your last full weekend as a single guy!! Next weekend is the BIGGIE!!!! :):)

Thanks, Holiday! It should be fun. Kim and I have a 10km race to run on Sunday morning, so aside from final weekend wedding preparations, we also have to prepare for that!

TGIF!!! Well the last time I was in our local Walmart was a week ago and they barely had fall decorations out, no Halloween and no Christmas. Had to stop back in the last night to pick up a few more school folders for the kids and I walked out in the Lawn and garden are and BAM!!! Boxes and more boxes of all that Christmas wonderfulness on pallets filling up the whole floor area and Halloween boxes on the shelves. Since our schools didn't start until last week they had to wait until the school supplies dwindled before they could consolidate them and get the aisles ready for the Halloween goodness. It brought a smile my face and a playful tease from my husband LOL. I am itching to start decorating the outside but now that is on hold as they are not sure what TS Jose is gong to bring us next week if it brings anything close to us. Hopefully by the end of the month we will be decorated.

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Friday!
It's going to be cloudy today with temperatures in the upper 70's. I'm up a bit early, just having my coffee and relaxing before I start my day. I have to run a couple of errands this morning and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. I have a cardiologist appointment later this afternoon. It's my first time going, a routine visit. Heart disease runs in my Daddy's side of the family so I'm just trying to be proactive. That's about it for me. I'm going to pick up a pizza for the girls for dinner and I have a steak out for my hubby. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Being proactive is so important with our health. Way to go HMG. I hope your day has been grand.

TGIF! It's going to be partly cloudy here with a high of 80 but the chance of a few showers also. It's Friday guys and girls. We made it almost to the weekend. I certainly am glad it's Friday. It's been a fine week though...nothing terrible, not a crazy overloaded week either. But Friday alas is here and a more relaxing weekend is planned this week than last. Have to get in a bunch of those before the "crazy" time of year comes aka the holiday season. Hard to believe we're halfway through September today huh? And I hope you all are having a great Friday. What's the plans for the weekend?

Happy Friday Edge! So glad you get to relax this weekend. Enjoy your time!

Good Morning, Citizens of the Great MMC Nation, far and wide!

We are almost there.
Almost to another ** MILESTONE DAY **!
(We have but to wait just ONE more day.)

Days to the Season: 59
Days to Christmas Day: 101

And that "101" emphatically tells us that TOMORROW, we will arrive at the ONE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY Milestone marker and start a dual-level, double-digit count!
(Exciting times. They are almost here!)
And not only that, but the Blossoms thread is just around the corner.
(Well, maybe a couple of corners, but it's getting close.)
Whew! I really feel like the Season is closing in on us now!

The late summer heat has returned but the humidity remains in check and it did not feel too bad yesterday.
The same is predicted for today and it should be dry and sunny.
Our current temperature? Well, our thermometer says 65, and I have no reason to doubt its veracity.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a Wondrous Weekend Eve, as well!

Great news Crown! Happier news each time you share!!

Good morning MMC!! TGIF! Merry Friday!!! We had a little fog this morning but now the sun is shining bright - beautiful morning! Coffee's good!

So the 1st thing I hear on tv as I walk into work this morning as that more prayers are needed for London! So sad! Praying for all affected! @Festive Spirit I hope you are all safe & sound!! Thinking of you all! (((HUGS)))

Some merrier news, our house is all decked out for fall! I finished it up last night. Well, I have 2 strands of garland I need to find a home for yet & some leaves to set around, but that won't take long! My hubby came home last night & said "Wow, you got a lot done tonight!" He never notices that stuff. LOL! He must have wanted his island back! ;) Anyway, I love it. Love all the lights in the room again. I had to order a few more timer tea-lights & batteries, but they should be here Monday! So fun!

Little Lucy's turning into a big girl. She figured out last night how to jump on the couch by herself. She doesn't like the sweeper & up she went. Ha ha! She got a bath this morning so now she's all pretty & ready to meet her boyfriend Jackson tonight!! (I told her she's too young for a boyfriend!)

Everyone, have a Fabulous Friday!

We are decorated for fall too! What an awesome feeling. I bet your home looks gorgeous. Have a great weekend!

Merry Friday...another week on the books and headed to Milestone Day! Hard to believe! Just work for me and a quiet weekend ahead. My daughter has a softball game tomorrow and then I will be relaxing. We are keeping a close eye on Jose as they said it might come up the East coast but hopefully won't be too powerful. Have a great Friday and weekend!

It's totally hard to believe, but wonderful isn't it SFM? :) Hope you have a relaxing weekend and Jose says "no way" to the coast!

I can't wait for my first glimpse! I've had a lack of that magical feeling for a few years, so I'm hoping to rediscover it coming up this season! Have a wonderful one, brent, and thanks for sharing!!

I'm a runner as well-training for a half and running 7 miles tomorrow AM! Yay Christmas runners! Also, from my husband and I, best wishes on your upcoming marriage!!! WONDERFUL news!! Many happy and joyful years (and Christmases!) together!!

Oh the ***SLURP*** and yum of it all....

You're telling me--my mouth is watering and I'm about to make a crockpot of this stuff, even if it's mid-80s out there today! Turn up the AC and act like it's November!!

Add my Walmart to the list!!

YAY!!!!!! Wonder when the spheres and glitter will show up... :)

Best of luck on your 7 miles tomorrow. The half requires a lot of dedication! I am interested in doing it, I just don't have the time to train properly.

Thank you on the wishes. It's pretty crazy how it's barely over a week away!

Good morning all! Well the chocolates and mince pies have started making their way onto the shelves in my local supermarket! I've heard people walk past them saying how it's only September and far too early to be out on the shelves.....I have to laugh that I feel the exact opposite!

The girls have been thinking about their Christmas lists, Halloween costumes and asking if we can stay at home this year and let off fireworks on bonfire night. They really take after me planning everything for the season! I love it!!!

Have a great day everyone

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Saturday!
It's going to be partly cloudy today with highs near 78 degrees, chance of an evening shower. Not too much going on, I have to do some food shopping this morning. I want to run to the pet store at some point for new cat toys. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry. We're going to grill chicken & ribs for dinner. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Good Saturday morning! Finally it's the weekend! Glorious Summer weather continuing for us and it should remain sunny and warm until next Friday. After taking Loki to the dog park and doing some chores, we will probably go to the movies to see It. I refuse to watch horror movies anymore (for my peace of mind) but I will see this one for my husband (with my eyes covered often I'm sure). Have a wonderful day everyone!

Happy 100 MMC! Today we expect cloudy skies with the chance of afternoon showers and a high of 81. Not the nicest day but it's a Saturday and it could be worse weather. Watching Jose out in the ocean and hoping it doesn't come too close to the northeast next week. I have some errands to do today but as I said this weekend should be more calm and laid back than last weekend. Have to enjoy it...have a great Saturday!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Folks!

Guess what?
(Well, actually the banner above told you.)
Yep. It's another one of those Milestone days!
Which one? Read on.

But first, as always, we present the day's count information:
Days to the Season: 58
Days to Christmas Day: 100

And even the least discerning among us can easily tell from our second number that we have arrived at the one and only ONE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW, which in turn means that tomorrow, we begin a binary double-digit count to our dual goals.
(Things are really starting to pick up now, Folks!)

Still on the warm side, but really not bad at all for mid September, which is technically still summer.
Another hurricane is meandering about off our coast but the best track prediction shows it passing by relatively harmlessly out to sea by the end of the weekend.
Behind it? Two more storms. Too early to tell yet where they will go.
For now, we greet this mid-September weekend at 68 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody, and a Magnificently Merry Milestone Day!
Enjoy your weekend.
