Good Morning MMC !

Wow, what a wind storm we had blow through here yesterday. Trees down, roofs off, power out and rain coming down so hard you could not see where you were going

not a good day !
lots of cleaning up to do today. good news is no one was hurt.

We had some heavy winds yesterday, too. I think they reached about 80km/h. Luckily, I was inside for much of the day.

Good morning and Happy Sunday!
Busy day here. I'm going wedding dress shopping with my daughter. We're also going to see a display of jack-o-lanterns later this evening. It's my first time going, I heard there are thousands of pumpkins on display. Should be fun! I also need to work on laundry in between and make lasagna for dinner

Good morning Everyone! I think I am finally going to get my wish, the temps will drop tomorrow to a high in the 50's!! That puts me in the mood for the Autumn season more than anything else! Going to relax and watch football today, and make a big pot of turkey noodle soup. Oh, and beg my fantasy football players to actually show up and play today! (Still waiting for that elusive second win of the season...) Have a great Sunday everyone!

Hectic day today!! 3 pumpkins carved, 48 Orange drop cookies made! Then I turned around and made a single batch of Eggnog cookies! Pumpkin seeds roasted,3 loads of laundry and now the 2 kids are headed to the tub.

Just put a large roast in the crock pot for tomorrows dinner. Have been working on my Thanksgiving menu. Think I am going to make other desserts besides pies and custards this year. View attachment 39710

Ohhhh the fog this morning, thick, enveloping blanket of frigid hope and promise. Down to 6, but reports of it climbing to 24 by end of the day

Go away summer - you'll not guilt me into pulling those weeds, or fixing that outside light fixture... i'm DONE with outsideness.

Good morning ~
Merry Monday!
It's going to be cloudy today with a few showers, highs near 60 degrees. Not too much planned for today. I have an appointment this morning with the naturopathic doctor. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. I'm going to make minestrone soup with tortellini for dinner. That's about it for me. Hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Morning MMC! I have off today which is my little mid-way break between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. Hard to believe we're already more than halfway between those 2 days. I'm going to IHOP for lunch and other than that trying to use my day off to relax some. We went to a Haunted House last night and it was fun. Pretty scary and fun. Definitely put me in the Halloween spirit which is coming. Have a great Monday!

Back to grind today and I am just having a cup of coffee and going through emails.
Definitely cooler weather out there which is nice.
We came home from my daughter's softball game and my boxer, Andre was limping no idea what he did but this morning he is fine, thankfully!

Good morning, everyone!

It's a new week. After this week, there is only one more full week until we reach the month that ushers in the Christmas Season. To say that I have been extremely tempted to listen to the soothing sounds of Christmas music over the past month or so would be an understatement. Somehow, though, I've managed to make a few excuses to listen to some songs.

Yesterday's storm has passed and we're much cooler today. Our high for the day is only 7c/45f... and with windchill (yes, we're no longer dealing with humidex), we're only reaching 4c/39f. Brrr! Temperatures are forecasted to rise again throughout the week and return to the low 20s/high 60s on the weekend.

I had a few new signs of Christmas this weekend. I'll (hopefully) post a few photos today or tomorrow. After work today, I have to run, go to the gym, and then bring Simon to the vet. He needs his annual checkup. As far as I can tell, he's a healthy boy. He might be a little overweight, but he's a big cat.

Back to Christmas signs, Kim and I are in the market for a new Tree. Lowe's has some nice ones, but they're a little pricey. We purchased our last one at Canadian Tire. We stopped in there this weekend they are still getting rid of their summer patio furniture in their seasonal section. Hopefully it's all gone soon. They usually have some decent deals!

Well, time to get back to work. Students are working on some Geography comic strip things. It's pretty neat! Have a great Monday, everyone! Hope your week starts out well!

Lucy is good. She's something else. If I had a dollar for every time I heard how cute she is over the weekend, I'd be a rich woman. Ha ha!!!

Good Monday morning! A cold morning with grey skies. They have a frost warning for tonight but temperatures should go back up after that. I dressed warmly and took Loki to the park for a long walk, where I saw a former enployee walking her two adorable Westies. Below are a couple of pictures from the park this morning. Normal is ok - not ready for "below normal" LOL!

Supposed to be 70-75 every day from Wednesday through Sunday here with sunshine. Got to enjoy it might be the nicest stretch we have for a long time.
