New member here. Been reading the countdown for a few weeks now but didn't want to start posting or get too involved as I didn't want to get into the Christmas spirit too early However as today is Halloween I'm going to allow myself to start getting excited!

I'm in my second year at university here in England and found I lost a lot of my Christmas spirit last year due to the combination of spending half of December away from home and the stress from university. I'm looking forward to celebrating with you all this year and think it will help a lot while I'm away from home.

This picture I texted the groomer & said "this looks like Lucy is saying ~Hurry up & take the *$#% picture!!! I want to play with Emmy!!" She said that is exactly what was happening & Emmy wasn't happy about it either! LOL!!!

Hi Guys! Happy Halloween! Starting tommorow we go into the unofficial holiday season! I picked up a holiday at Best Buy, so looking forward to the busy season!

And just like that, it's Halloween again! Happy Halloween, everyone! We'll be handing out candy tonight and watching a couple Halloween shows on video. It's pretty much perfect Halloween weather here, although I suspect many of you would like it to be colder! (That's coming in November---which starts tomorrow!)

Today's high will be 34 degrees. That guarantees frosty trick or treating, this evening(No, not that Frosty.).

Happy Halloween. In that case, I certainly agree and do own that one myself. Have not watched it this year yet, but i have treated myself to Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Toy Story of Terror, Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Disney's Ichabod Crane) and Disney's Halloween Treat.
But I must admit that does sound like a very cool transition film.
By the way, the "Ballroom" scene in the other posting is from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. Have a fun-filled last day of October...

You made me realize I haven't watched Garfield Halloween yet this year. I must do that tonight! (IF I can stand to turn off Hallmark Christmas )

Happy Halloween MMC! Yep it's Halloween somehow. If you're a fan you understand what today is about and if you're not you probably are thinking how amazing it is that tomorrow starts the month of the Christmas Season. People bring in some candy and stuff for Halloween at work. Will have some at home tonight and watch my traditional Halloween shows like Garfield. Have a great and Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, MMC!! We are still without power but we do have a generator that can power almost the whole house so that is good at least. They are saying it could be a multi-day restoration so I am hoping by tomorrow we get it back.

Happy Halloween everyone! I am in disbelief that it is actually the last day of October! I want to enjoy the holiday today as much as I can because tomorrow I enter Christmas mode and never look back! I hope everyone has a great and safe Halloween!!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Today, all those little ghosts and goblins will be wandering the streets in search of tasty treasures. I hope your evenings are filled with joy and excitement as you accompany children or even handout candy to the wonderfully dressed trick-or-treaters.

Although I am certainly excited to handout candy to kids, I think I am most looking forward to flipping the calendar over to November tomorrow morning. What a day that will be. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is so close. Soon the calendar will, indeed, be bringing Happy Holidays to us!

Not much happening today, otherwise. There wasn't much work available, as most teachers enjoy being at school on Halloween. Instead, I think I will spend my day at home and get a few things done. I do have some planning for the three Christmas music trivia games I have created for three different parties this year. I think I am officially done one of three. Another is 2/3 done, and I think the other is only 1/3 done. At least it gives me a good excuse to listen to Christmas music a couple weeks early!

Happy Halloween, MMC!!! It’s off to a chilly start here. I had to scrape the windows before leaving for the doctors office. I hope the kids bought costumes they could bundle up in! On Saturday I pulled out Garfield and Charlie Brown and watched them back to back! I hadn't seen Garfield in a couple years ... I didn't remember much about it! (Isn't the voice of Garfield perfect?)

Looking forward to soon seeing the Thanksgiving episodes!
