I have to admit, that puts it into perspective!Hey Crown!! Our high is 9° for the next few days
I went outside and my knees almost fell off..lol. Snow is to high for flipflops so I had to bust out the sneakersI have to admit, that puts it into perspective!
We're going to have a high of five below zero Saturday and Sunday.I have to admit, that puts it into perspective!
Sorry to hear you have The Creeping Crud. Heal up quickly.Merry Thursday!
Ugh, I have a cold or maybe the flu. Feeling really blah and achy. Good thing I don't have to work today.
Be warm and merry!
Take care of yourself Meceka and I hope you feel better soon.
I hope you get well very soon Meceka, sending hugs and prayers!

A Fabulous Friday to you Meceka and I pray your illness ends even before the year does. Have a safe and warm weekend.

Sorry to hear you have The Creeping Crud. Heal up quickly.
Good morning ~
Merry Friday!
I started coughing yesterday so I think I may be coming down with something as well. Hopefully it won’t be too bad. It’s going to be another chilly day. Looks like we have some snow heading our way tomorrow. Not too much going on here. I’m taking my youngest to the dentist later this morning for a routine cleaning and then we’re heading to the mall. We have plans to go out for dinner on New Years Eve and I’d like to pick up a new outfit. That’s about it.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day. Keep warm everyone!

Morning MMC and TGIF! This is the last one of the year and the 1st one after Christmas. Yes I state the obvious this morning but it's too cold outside to even think right now. This is the type of cold that hurts lol. But I'm off these next 4 days so I'm really going to enjoy it. I got a full 8 hours of sleep last night. Felt great. Had pizza. Again great. And now going to do some errands but also REST some and take it easy. All this running around the last 4-6 weeks really wears you out. But it was of course all worth it and fun for the Christmas Season. Have a great Friday!
Greetings HMG. Be careful with that possible illness young lady. Better a takeout or delivery on New Year's Eve than to begin the year in bed battling a cold. Either way, take care and prayers for a quick recovery.View attachment 41808
Praying you are better soon, HmG! Sending much love and hugs your way. {{{HUGS}}}
Lol!! Crown I spent 23 years in Jaxs and winter is always miserable in NC for the most part.A frosty Good Morning to everyone.
We are not doing too bad this morning at 35, bound for at least the mid 40's by this afternoon but that's it for "warm" weather for quite some time and we will be spending most of our nights in the teens for the foreseeable future.
(It has been correctly pointed out by some that I should feel grateful and I certainly get their point, but this is the south, for heaven's sake!)
Been watching the bowl games. The teams from this area are in the ACC so I tend to focus on games involving that conference. At this point, the ACC is 4-3 with two more games scheduled for today.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Friends.
Under two days remain now for this thread and until the launch of Christmas Countdown 2018!
Merry Christmas everybody!
Im so sorry I haven't been here this season
Some "familystuff" just broke my heart this autumn, and I hope it heals through 2018
I missed you guys so much ♥ and I hope to be back soon

Late report ... This year's Christmas season was extraordinary ... our annual DVD of Christmas clips came together in record time ... the office where I work got into a decorating frenzy and held a decorating contest ... recording and editing and processing and wrapping and baking got done, impossibly, on time ... I had some days off before Christmas to enjoy ... the gifts I bought for Mr. were ALL hits ... there was even an iconic snowfall late Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning, and the sun came out later in the day to shine on snowy Christmas scenery. True, I was too busy to get the trees decorated until the 11th, and we didn't get out to our family Christmas gathering yesterday (the plows didn't come around until after noon, and our driveway wasn't plowed until after 1 p.m.), but the two of us had a wonderful day at home anyway. For the most part, things just went exceptionally well and it was, and still is, a wonderful Christmas season. It will be hard to let go of this one; I'll have to just carry a piece of it with me into the New Year!
