For us, it’s a wet one. The Nor’easter is big time effecting the weather here, the power went out here at the office, which is great, because one would think, yes, half day today. But, they have an automatic backup generator and we have power once more, that squashed that thought....

Now I’m sitting here at my desk thinking is the power on at home?

I just read that currently there are Around 750,000 people without power right now because of the storm.

He’s a good boy. We adopted him last year from our local shelter. He had been in various shelters for over a year. Can’t understand why no one wanted him. He’s such a sweetie.

Good morning MMC! TGIF! Merry Friday!!!

After a really nasty weather day yesterday, today we have nothing but blue skies with chilly wind & high of 43º predicted. It's nice to see the sunshine! It did snow for a bit last night, unfortunately it was after dark. I turned on the spotlight in the back yard to watch. Didn't last long.

I finished my afghan last night!! YAY!!!


Anyone have big plans for the weekend? I can't wait until noon...then I plan to chill at home & get a few things done. No plans tonight. Tomorrow late afternoon we are heading to Dayton to meet up with our lake friends & go out for supper - yep, Mexican again! I don't think we have any plans Sunday! Looking forward to it! After a weekend at moms (last weekend) I'm ready for some time at home!

The office I work in is in a wing of the building built around 1901. It's a good, sturdy building, but today, when there's a heavy wind gust, something on the roof (or sounds like it's on the roof) bangs around like someone throwing trash cans. It was bothersome for those having a conference call in one of the meeting rooms! I'm looking forward to getting home. I hope there's no late work tonight.

Well, we just lost power again. The emergency generator is on.

Every time the power goes out, I end up loosing work that I just did. This will be the 3rd time this afternoon already. I feel like I’m having deja vu or something, I keep repeating the work I did, over and over again.

I’m just read over 1.2 million out of power because of this storm.

@made582 I just want to say I'm so sorry to hear of another police officer shot (he's not going to make it! ) in the Indy area! Such BS!!! Breaks my heart!!
His wife was our nephews teacher!
So sad & so senseless! Awful!
I'm happy that at least they have all 3 (horrible) suspects in custody!
What is wrong with our world?!?!!!!!! What is wrong with (some) people???!
