just lost power again. The emergency generator is on.

Every time the power goes out, I end up loosing work that I just did. This will be the 3rd time this afternoon already. I feel like I’m having deja vu or something, I keep repeating the work I did, over and over again.

I’m just read over 1.2 million out of power because of this storm.

Time to call it a night & watch a Christmas movie in your iPad

I will, MerrryCarey. Thank you. So many magical memories. I play my Gram and Pop's musical Christmas lights from my childhood every year. It always brings me to tears. This year, I'll be hearing the voices and memories of both grandparents when playing the lights. It's going to be magical having them with me for every Christmas from now on.

So far so good for us! It’s still blowing and raining, but we haven’t lost power. Hope we’ll be okay overnight. We’re inland from the coast, so we’re better off than some.

@made582 I just want to say I'm so sorry to hear of another police officer shot (he's not going to make it! ) in the Indy area! Such BS!!! Breaks my heart!!
His wife was our nephews teacher!
So sad & so senseless! Awful!
I'm happy that at least they have all 3 (horrible) suspects in custody!

At least he’s going to save more lives since they are donating his organs.

They all have lengthy histories and 2 had active warrants. They should have never been out. It’s really a shame that the cop that shot the shooter didn’t have better aim. I probably shouldn’t say more than that on here.

The same with us so far. We lost power earlier, but it is back on now. The wind is still howling out there like crazy. From this second floor apartment, we can look across a ball field and can see water that connects into Long Island sound.

Good Morning, MMC Citizens!

Another weekend has arrived. That dependable and comfortable end-of-the-week oasis we so covet.

What's also comforting, is the thought that Christmas and its Season is always on the way. That ultimate oasis that we truly covet above all others!

And Milestone marker number four? The ONE-THIRD point to the Season?
Well, it lurks much closer than you might think.
Just TWELVE days ahead, in fact. Practically down to SINGLE DIGITS, already.
(Now tell me. It that more comforting......or scary?)

Wow. The wind yesterday. Off and on gust that had our 100-foot tall pine trees swaying and us imagining what it would be like if one fell.
No rain though, and it was sunny for most of the day.
Today should be windy too, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. And it has begun here in the capital city at 39 sunny (and so far, calm) degrees.
