We are under a winter storm watch already. Their best guess right now is 3 to 5 inches.
Latest model shows 5-8" for us. I'm not holding my breath!

I got to work this morning and as soon as I sat down and turned my computer on, the owner walks by my desk, say's "you made it in!", all nice and loud, so the whole office heard what he said.

I'm not the kind of person that likes that kind of sarcasm, (where the attempt is to belittle someone) first thing in the morning, until, I get at least a couple cups of coffee in me. So, that set the tone of my morning so far....
Hope your day gets better!!! xx

Just the sort of thing I was afraid of. So far I haven't had a dose of that. I hope the rest of your day is sarcasm-free. The good news is, this is likely to be the last snowstorm of the season that is likely to be of "stay home or go in?" caliber. Then we get a rest until next snow season ...

I know right, who needs that. Then he goes back to his desk and he's on the phone with a contractor, and he starts dropping F bomb, oh boy...what a start to the morning. My wife sends me a random text message this morning telling me that she wishes that we could of just stayed in bed, sleeping this morning.

Amen to that wish. When that alarm went off this morning, I wanted to throw it out the window, pull the covers up tight and go back to sleep.....

Tomorrow's Friday---it'll be a better day. And a Rudolph weekend to look forward to. Hang in there, it'll all be forgotten quickly!

Thanks Crown! As Coach mentioned the other day can't believe that in a little over a month we're going to be in the "1"s for the Season Count!
Yep. The time really seems to move quickly when the count begins on Nov. 13.
It runs quietly in the back ground for over a month and a half until Jan 1. By then, it is well along!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

After the funeral yesterday, I was driving back home through a nearby town when I saw something in the road. A tree hangs over part that part of the 5-lane highway, so I thought it was a fallen limb. I started to cross into the next lane to avoid it when I realized it was a child standing in the road! He couldn't have been more that 2 years old, facing away from oncoming cars. AND CARS WERE JUST GOING AROUND HIM!! I used my truck to block both of the lanes of traffic that he was near, then jumped out, grabbed him and ran to the side of the road. A couple ladies who saw this stopped and called 911, and a few minutes later a girl approx. 10 years old came from a nearby house and said he was her brother. Apparently, no parent was around and the children were left at home. The ladies gave the girl a stern talking-to about watching the younger children, and she took the boy home.

I can't believe how careless some people are with their children, AND HOW PEOPLE ON THE ROAD JUST DROVE AROUND THIS LITTLE BOY AND KEPT GOING!!:mad:

Sorry, my blood pressure is still up about this whole thing.

I hope y'all have a great day! :)
