Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I can’t believe it is here! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
I'm not a child but I would go to the Star Wars Christmas story for sure. Hope these last few days at your work weren't too exhausting. Enjoy the candlelight service and a wonderful Christmas Eve with Carolina and your whole family.I just found out I have to go in 2 hours early today as one of the cashiers called out for her shift today. If I dont go in early the manager will be by herself and it has been mobbed the past few days.
Carolina is at her sunday school Christmas party right now.
Tomorrow nights childrens Christmas story is being told by Star Wars characters. I am trying to convince Carolina to go to that one but she is insistent that she wants to do the candlelight service
What a rude (yet caring?) thief! Stay warm AuntieMistletoeDear and enjoy your Christmas EveWe had some mild weather last week, but last night it got cold and today was chilly. Last night, I plugged my car in for the first time in two weeks. This morning someone had taken our 4 port power outlet and my cord along with it, yet was kind enough to plug my husband's chord into the main block, I found that odd, but slightly caring; I can't plug in tonight. Not a problem for my vehicle as it shouldn't dip down colder than -18 tonight. I hope that was a Christmas present for someone.
I guess I'm picking up a replacement tomorrow. I'll get two cords and keep a spare in the trunk just in case.
Have fun at with your family.
Your neighbour was lucky to be able to reach you after his fall, I hope he has a fast recovery. Head wounds always bleed so much, I've had to deal with that with a couple of employees over the years. That was so kind of you to give his family a head's up on what to expect next. Here's to a less "eventful" and a great Christmas Eve for you and your neighbour's family made.Well it was an eventful evening here. My 83 year old neighbor called and said he had fell. He hadn’t just fallen, he had split his head open. I walked into a bloody mess. The next few hours were spent getting him to the hospital since he didn’t want to take an ambulance and trying to get a hold of his kids. They ended up having to transfer him to one of the trauma hospitals with a small brain bleed since our local hospital doesn’t have a neurosurgeon on call to monitor him. He shouldn’t need surgery but they don’t want to chance it just in case. We went through this all a few years ago with mom when she had a brain bleed with one of her strokes. So I tried to walk his family through what will most likely happen over the next couple of days. I know it’s not how they wanted to spend their holiday. Hopefully he’ll get out on Christmas Day though if they follow the same timeline as mom.

Praying for your neighbor. Glad you were able to help him

What a lucky guy, to have a neighbour like you. Glad you were there for him and now there for his family.
Prayers are being said, I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Hope your work day passes quickly! I am working today too but will probably end a bit early..it should be a quiet day.Good middle-of-the-night Christmas Eve! I woke up at 2:20am and couldn't fall back asleep. Hopefully I will sleep a little more before work today. Our supper at in my in-laws last night was great, with delicious food and lively conversation. I am counting down the hours till 5:30pm when my work day will be done and David and I can enjoy a quiet Christmas Eve spent watching movies cuddled up under blankets on the couch.
I'm wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas Eve!
