I just found out I have to go in 2 hours early today as one of the cashiers called out for her shift today. If I dont go in early the manager will be by herself and it has been mobbed the past few days.
Carolina is at her sunday school Christmas party right now.
Tomorrow nights childrens Christmas story is being told by Star Wars characters. I am trying to convince Carolina to go to that one but she is insistent that she wants to do the candlelight service

Merry Christmas Eve Eve MMC! To me this day feels like the day before Thanksgiving. That's the type of anticipation it has. I know Christmas Eve is supposed to be that day of anticipation but that to me is the biggest day of the year so today is simply the Eve of it. And my brother did fly in yesterday. It was good to see him and you could tell he was happy to be here for the holidays. Today is the day to do last minute preparations. Yesterday was a long day and not a normal Saturday for sure. Have a great Christmas Eve Eve!

I couldn't agree more! Such a good feeling. Everything is wrapped up...no going out and shopping...hanging around the house doing some shopping, cleaning, and cooking. Family time...Christmas shows and football....and nachos. Does it get any more Christmassy than that?

Wow, Christmas Day is soooo close!
I have been enjoying Kringle Radio and the North Pole updates.
We are getting ready for Christmas part 2 with my wife's family.
Currently we are watching the 1952 Abbott and Costello Christmas special on the Colgate Comedy Hour. I simply LOVE Abbott and Costello.

I gotta admit. I kinda like Christmas Eve on a Monday. Christmas Eve Eve is full of football, the Christmas Eve, then Christmas....three great days in a row. Kinda awesome!

Good Morning, MMC!!! My sister just dropped off my nieces. She has to work until 5 tomorrow so we are doing our Christmas with them while she as at work since they will be with their dad most of Christmas Day. After lunch I’m taking them shopping for their mom. Then it’ll be back here to start my Christmas food prep. I hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Merry Sunday everyone! I finished 1 last round of cookies today in hopes they last until Christmas ( skeptical). We gathered a few inches of snow so I hope it lasts until Christmas Day. Not much else happening but Christmas movies and music.

Good Sunday-before-Christmas! It got very cold overnight but the sun is shining bright. It was so busy at the store yesterday, a record Saturday. Should be more of the same today. Tonight we’re going to my in-laws. My father-in-law is Jewish and makes the best knish, can’t wait for a good meal with family. Have a wonderful day everyone!

We had some mild weather last week, but last night it got cold and today was chilly. Last night, I plugged my car in for the first time in two weeks. This morning someone had taken our 4 port power outlet and my cord along with it, yet was kind enough to plug my husband's chord into the main block, I found that odd, but slightly caring; I can't plug in tonight. Not a problem for my vehicle as it shouldn't dip down colder than -18 tonight. I hope that was a Christmas present for someone.
I guess I'm picking up a replacement tomorrow. I'll get two cords and keep a spare in the trunk just in case.

Well, I am truly finished with the shopping. I picked up a small batch of cards and my second ornament exchange partner gift so I'm diving into those shortly.

I got a bit of a hassle from the cashier because my husband's name is on the box not mine, I explained he bought it for me and it should never have had his name on it; it used to have mine. When he's walking around again he'll have to go in and switch it over. She wound up getting the Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Her lucky day and mine 'cause she let me leave with my cards and merry parcel.

Oh my, I nearly forgot to share the merriest news ... in the vehicle behind me at one of the intersections on my errand trip was SANTA; he wasn't wearing his full suit, his head, jolly face and real beard were enough. Once I realized it was our best local Santa, I could hardly take my eyes off the review mirror. I wondered if he knew that I recognized him. So, I waved to him when I had to turn right and he kept going.
Quite the merry moment; considering I had just seen a mall Santa in his full suit visiting with children ten minutes earlier who wasn't as true as the one I saw.
