It's super-duper hot and humid today, and I've spent most of the day in the plant for a customer tour. They really wanted to hang out in the plant, too LOL. We just got back from taking them for a huge lunch. They are on the road for home, and I'm at my desk, wishing I hadn't eaten so much. Whew.
Open house at Elizabeth's school tonight, then she starts school tomorrow as a high school senior. Jacob starts Fall Semester on Monday, as a second semester junior. They're growing up and away too fast!

On Saturday, Adi will go see his Dad and then I will drive halfway there to pick him up. He still has his Dad's car from picking him up in Green Bay, and Ken needs it back, so his sister will give him a lift halfway so I won't need to travel as far. That will take a good part of the afternoon, so we'll probably stop for dinner on the way back. And Sunday is catch up around the house day. It's amazing how you blink, and the weekend is over!

Merry Friday Eve!!
So looking forward to the weekend. It may be time to start pulling out some Fall decorations! And throw in a few seasonal films!
A typical day here, work and some errands this afternoon.
It is very hot and humid! There was moisture on all of the windows at home and work earlier. Really looking forward to the early Fall temperatures, and sweatshirt/sweater weather. A few trees are starting to turn. Craziness.
My sister, Shannon, is taking Hailey into the vet today for retests. I am trying to remain positive, yet be realistic too. She still hasn't eaten, and that is definitely not good. If there hasn't been significant improvement, she will do right by her. Just so hard to think about. Please send them good thoughts and prayers.

Hello everyone! Things got exciting for me today as my son’s fiancé was induced at 4 this morning. She’s moving along slowly but moving. She’s having a rough go at it, but is pushing through it like a trooper. Baby Ellie is doing fine. I will be a grandfather by the end of the weekend for sure! I never thought I could love anyone or anything more than I do my children. Ellie has proven me wrong. I cannot describe the amount of love I have for her right now. My son is doing as well as can be, he’s feeling helpless though. I completely know the feelings he’s having. I will keep everyone posted and post pics when Ellie arrives.

Wow that count is getting almost too low now. And you know what else? I just checked and our next milestone believe it or not is in 4 days! On Tuesday we will reach the 75% marker (That would also be considered 3/4 ) to the Christmas Season. REMARKABLE! Only ¼ to go? That’s not enough time is it? Well let’s just enjoy today then and start getting ready for the Bers which is coming in 3 weeks. Make it a great Friday everyone! Let’s enjoy this summer weekend ahead!

Good Friday morning! A perfect Summer morning with NO humidity! It feels so good having cool air coming in from all the windows open. And I have Loki sleeping on my lap right now, so it really is a perfect morning. I have a 3-day weekend thanks to my boss who saw how much time I put in during our store’s pre-opening period. Today I plan on getting laundry and chores out of the way while David is at work so we can relax some over the weekend. Have a great day everyone!

It’s goung to be sunny and warm today and it’s finally less humid! We’ve had Florida like weather and storms here on the island this past week, it’s nice to get some relief. I’m just having a cup of coffee and I’m working on a menu plan & grocery list. I need to run to the pet store and butcher today. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be steaks on the barbecue with roasted potatoes and corn on the cob. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!
