Good afternoon ... we are well into that rollercoaster of temps now. Some days nice crisp and cool and other day warm, al most summer like. I will be happy when the temps start staying more chilly ... I am in the mood for homemade soups but still warm for those. Haven't had the chance to decorate for fall/Halloween yet, hoping to have all that done by this weekend. Take my daughter shopping tonight for a dress for the homecoming dance. Hope everyone has a great day.

October .... Time to curl up with a good cup of something cold ...... 90 degrees here tomorrow.

72 degrees until the rain shows up. We will wake up to 37 degrees, tomorrow morning.

Carolina and I baked cookies this morning. Now we just got back from a fall walk around the neighborhood. We found lots of fall decorations. We also saw some flowers. She would like to know if anyone knows what this flower is? We know it is not a mum and I want able to answer her question

Thanks everyone! I heard that trees were uprooted and some homes were damaged but thankfully no one was hurt. Tornadoes are pretty rare here, especially in October.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

Nancy and I went to meet Jacob for dinner last night, and it was great! We usually meet him on Thursday, but he had other plans. We were lucky he found time for us, I guess. Of course, we were holding his monthly allowance, too.

While we were in Statesboro, Nancy and I bought some paint for the front porch. It looks like she might help me paint!

Good Morning! I am off today so I am not sure what the day will hold. Carolina and I are going to bake some of the Pillsbury Halloween cookies this morning/afternoon. Tonight she has bible club at church so while I am waiting for her I will probably read and try to make a good dent in the book I am currently reading since Elin Hilderbrands new Christmas book comes out on Tuesday

Merry Pines Day MMC ~
We had a wild storm pass through last night, the national weather service confirmed that a tornado actually touched down on part of the island. We woke up to beautiful morning, it’s going to be partly sunny with a high of 75 degrees. Typical day of errands and chores plus more bridal shower shopping, things are really picking up now as it gets closer. No complaining though, it’s the best kind of busy!

Long time, no post. I feel like Christmas is quickly sneaking up behind us, now that we are in the double-digit countdown. It is finally starting to feel a little more like fall in here in SE Georgia. Drier air is coming around more often, making for a deeper blue sky and for windows to be open. I always feel like this part of fall never lasts long enough.
