Good Morning MMC friends..Hope everyone is all well today...Ive been busy lately with family issues....To be honest ive sorta lost the christmas spirit right now....Juggling work and helping my parents out alot and trying to be a dad at the same time...It sure does tire you out alot...I will try and get back into a normal routine being here posting with MMC friends when i can...Have a Merry day/evening/weekend ahead

a little warmer this morning.
Great but busy day yesterday. My son won 1st place at stacking tournament and is now part of Canada's elite team ! So proud of him

Good morning MMC!! TGIF! Merry Friday!!!!

Just work for me today at the old job - then I'll be heading home to get things ready to head to the lake. Only 2 weekends left out there. Booo!!! It's a good thing our furnace was fixed b/c tomorrow night is our 1st chance of snow...looks like tomorrow could be a pretty "nasty" weather day!! I'll be thankful for the heat!

Tomorrow morning I will go stay with mom until my sister gets there. Then I'll head back to the lake to watch some football. Bucks play at 7:30 but I don't think the weather is going to cooperate to put them up on the big screen! Sunday afternoon our friend is playing at the bar up the street from our trailer so we'll head up there. That's about it for the weekend. Anybody have fun plans?

DD is 13 & we watched together. She said we didn't have to watch the Toy Story Halloween short afterward because that wasn't "our tradition"!

We have so many little traditions in our family for all sorts of occasions that she still likes to be a part of. I hope she'll think back on those as fondly as I do a few of my childhood traditions.

DD has band competition tomorrow. Meet at the school at 7:00 am to load, travel, compete, travel back. It will probably be 3:00 am Sunday before we fall back into bed for a few hours. We're tired already, but we know these years with DD are swiftly passing and we enjoy watching & listening as she enjoys playing percussion.

Best of luck to your daughter at her band competition!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's overcast this morning, but the temperature is cool. It's so nice to walk outside without immediately breaking out in a sweat. It's supposed to be in the mid-80's tomorrow, but then upper 60's on Sunday!!

We're planning to go to Savannah tonight, for dinner and some shopping. My niece is one year old, and we're going to her birthday party tomorrow.

Go Bucks!! Can't wait to watch tomorrow! I was sad to hear of Bosa's decision but I understand it! Glad I will watching from my warm comfy couch, it will be quite cold in the Shoe tomorrow!

Thank you so much for all your thoughts, well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate that.

I’ve been home since Tuesday and I feel better than I did, but I am still feeling feeling some pain and discomfort in my abdomen. If I do too much, I start to feel week and get shaky, where I need to sit down. All my blood test reports all came back as normal (which is fantastic), but No one yet knows what caused this.

I don’t know, this stupid middle age stuff that happens for no reason at all, just drives me nuts. I don’t like, not being able to do what I consider is normal for me to be like on an average day.

I’ve been taking it easy, but tomorrow, I’m going to push myself some to try and get straightened out.

Friends, I just want to share how full my heart feels...sitting here with my girls in my lap as we watch Charlie Brown.

These are the moments I know I will dream of one day....

I’m happy for you Coach, as I know you will treasure those memories for forever. I know, for I still do, to this very day.

Now-a-days, I’m lucky to get a text message from them once a month! They're both now in their mid 20’s and well, I guess that’s how it was when we were that age... working, out having fun with our friends; (parents, oh yea, ummm, I think I called them the other week.....)

I got most of what I wanted to accomplish done. I cant finish laundry because there is no place to hang anything but there is always tomorrow night. Carolina has had a barky sounding cough most of the day. She was outside playing with neighbors so I hope the time outside helps relieve her. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday night. It's almost bath and bedtime for us and then quiet time for mommy
